The BONANZA theme song was written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans and orchestrated by David Rose for the U.S. television series by the same name. Members of the Western Writers of America chose it as one of the Top 100 Western songs of all time.
"Orange Blossom Special" (heard only briefly at the very beginning and ending of this clip) was written by Ervin T. Rouse in 1938. Often called simply "The Special" or "OBS", the song is commonly referred to as "the fiddle player's national anthem."
