We got to see this message live last weekend! Traveled more then 5 hours just to visit the Ballentyne location! It was exciting to have such a great word delivered while we were there! And the worship cmon now! it was beyond what I expected God's presence was there! I will definitely be coming back!
How do I see a new story when it hurts so much the reality of the events? When the resentment is so much bigger in the fog than perhaps the faith of seeing a new light in the end. When everyday I'm reminded of what happened and the possibility of happening again? When the "why did you do it?" answer is never enough or it doesn't sound truthful enough for my belief. 😩

I don’t know if you’ll ever see this, but I want you to know that I watch and listen your sermons all day every day. In the morning, in the background at work, in the car, and at home in the evenings. I am going through one of the hardest seasons of my life I’ve ever dealt with, which is waiting and trusting God to renew my marriage. We are separated right now, and it’s been an incredibly humbling, difficult, and beautiful journey these past 6 months watching and feeling God transforming me as I prayed for back in December. Your sermons give me hope. They make me feel better, God speaks to me through them, and they help me seek God more and more with everything I have and do every single day. I want you to know you are touching many lives outside of your church. Especially mine at this time. Thank you for all that you do.

Truth changes fact. It may be a fact that someone’s kid is on drugs, but the truth is your prayers are heard,and your God is able, and he stands with you, and nothing can snatch you from his hand, and your obedience and faithfulness will abound to a thousand generations!
truth: I have ALS , but TRUTH: I am a child of God, His Holy Spirit abiding in me. The Lord knows the beginning from the end, He is with me and I will believe the TRUTH of the word of God and NOT the emotional story of abandonment that Satan plays on repeat to knock me down. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom

This has been an eye-opening sermon for me...the one that has helped me the most during this season of depression of mine...I realised I have been telling myself the wrong story..not cautiously but since my childhood for the past 22 years...thanking God that he used this sermon to make me realise the deepest problem I have been suffering from all these years..

I have always been floored by your sermons. I watched this live on Sunday morning except it was an earlier sermon. I'd been battling with either a lie, or a truth...or both. Depression has had me down for a couple weeks. Yesterday I fought it off best i coukd and went to a therapy appointment. I spilled out my heart and attempted to get back up. This morning the depression loomed around like a thick heavy fog. I clicked on UA-cam as usual to pull up what ever sermon was on my screen and almost scrolled down because I just watch this one Sunday. However, I felt a strong urge to watch it again. I can't even put into words how this sermon made me feel. I can't even begin to express how desperately I needed it. I'm watching it now for the 3rd time today. I'm praying that God will reveal a new beginning and a new truth to me. I'm still left not knowing which truth to believe but I stand firm knowing that God will reveal his truth to me. I have one question for Pastor Furtick. I just went through my prayer journals referencing back to a year and a half ago when he was given this message. I was apparently crying out some deep cries and woes in 2017. Just wondering if there was an exact date he was given this message. PS 2013 was the hardest year of my life too. By listening to Furtick preach we experience many of the same timed seasons. Right now I'm in a difficult season but thanks to this ministry it hasn't been as difficult as seasons past. I think God asked you to preach this today in part because of me. Last week I left a comment on one of your sermons about not supporting your church because of your views on homosexuality.. I was convinced by the pro-gay ministries but your prayer to shake those untrue beliefs sure shook me! God has been revealing my deception on this topic and thanks to this sermon I decided to look further into the issue and came across Mike Winger and his UA-cam series on homosexuality and the Bible. He set the record straight and addressed Matthew Vines arguments directly point by point in detail. I came across David Pickup and the amazing work he does for families struggling with this issue and my perspective has been radically changed. I write all this to apologize for my comments before and I hope they don't lead anyone else astray. I will be making a donation to Elevation church soon to show my appreciation for all that you guys are doing! God bless and thank you for these sermons they have truly truly blessed my life with these messages ♡ thank you!!!
This sermon is completely God's word like all his sermons. God open my eyes especially when Pastor Steven said it is not just because it sounds good that means it is! Thank you, Pastor, for allowing God to be your Pastor and be a messenger of His Word. Gods message hit home today. I have been taking the devils lies and turning them into truths. Believing a lie and becoming intoxicated that you begin to believe it yourself. Then God speaks words of Wisdom and Truth. I am gonna follow Gods truth and believe in His provision in time of need. His word is everlasting and will prevail. Set me free Holy Spirt set me free to choose the Word of Truth for my life for the Glory of God.

Hi guys please pray for me. I'm currently a college student at Europe and there's barely any believers at where I am.
To be honest it's very depressing sometimes. Even though I've never been to the U.S. but my native language is American English because I grew up speaking it. My upbringing is very different and multicultural. I really hope I can get to know more college students at Elevation Church and connect with them. Being the only person/believer at university without being able to share about life daily combined with the Bible really makes me feel sad and lonely.
Yaaaay, the message for the week is up. Thanks to Elevation Church for blessing me every week with these life-changing words.

Thank You Pastor Furtick for your obedience. My story is second guessing,always more concerned about what people think and fear of offending someone,so much so that I shrunk myself to be only a portion of what God intended me to be. I confused humilty - truth ; with doormat,which inturn led me to believe that I am not good enough,self inflicted.I am on a journey with the Lord and was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. I have been blessed because the Lord prepared me and showed me something bad was coming,Do IT again started playing in my spirit 3 months continiously,I had only heard it once before,you sang it at the end of one of your sermons,but Out of the blue it started playing in my spirit ,even in my sleep ,everything I did ,the song continued for about 3 months.Then it was followed by 3 weeks of Even if it hurts by Hillsong,The first and only time I heard that song was 2 years ago and I honestly thought,it was too depressing at the time. But here I was singing it continiously not knowing or realising what was coming. During that time I started listening to Dr Leafs Detox you Brain series 1-4 and at the time of my diagnosis I was at perfect peace. My family and friends are very supportive but also frustrated because I am treating this as a common cold and in denial,which obviously made me start stressing about the fact that I am NOT stressing,this message just confirmed what I have known all along. My truth is God is and remains in control and there is nothing wrong with the fact that I am not stressed out.🙏🏾 God bless you and your family always
I need to listen to God and not myself instead of waking up saying this is going to be another bad day at work I need to trust God and know his telling me to walk this way that his always with me even though I am alone I’m not even though they treat me anyway it doesn’t matter all that matters is what Gods telling me in Jesus name Amen

I have been struggling these past few weeks with the feeling of loneliness, and just feeling like i have missed the mark of where God wants me to be and i have to say hearing this sermon is just what i needed to hear to validate that i am right on track and maybe i just need to stop lying to myself and staying stuck in situations and move out of them into the path and truth that God has for me. I was so distracted this weekend when I went to church that I have listened to this message no less than 5 times since just to make sure I received what I needed to hear. Over the past 7 years I have been writing a book just about how to go through the broken process of divorce & separation from your kids as a result and got to the point that the publisher said "you can move forward with your story as-is, but you will have to experience other things to go along with this or you can get your story edited from an editor." #stevenfurtick when you said this I almost fell off my chair. You see what I realized was it was the help of the editor that allowed me to understand the truth in my reality. Without him the book would have just been my story, but with him it allowed me to see God's truth in the process.
I thank God for #elevationchurch and Pastor Steven as many there have attributed to my spiritual growth! This message is so incredibly powerful and I thank you very much!
Oh my Goooood!!! Woooooooo ooooooo this is so true. I needed this message a couple of months ago, but God had my back. The truth hunts us, breaks us, hides us and if we let it, it will kill us. One day I opened my eyes hearing one of Pastor Furtick's messages. From that day I decided that my truth was going to help me stick to God and not the world. Its amazing to me how God uses our truth to break us and confort us. I hope everybody here engraves this message into your heart because we will have doubts and we will have an opportunity to fall, and if we fall, we must get right up because that is what Jesus did carrying that Cross. Pastor Never apologize for NOT seeing the message you see now. Because you may have preached a message on this scripture before, but in your life it that time you were in a different season of your life. So now when you preach on the same scripture years later, you've gone thru a "Growth Period" so then scripture is going to HIT different. Amen. NEVER DISCOUNT SCRIPTURE YOU'VE ALREADY READ OR PREACHED ON, BECAUSE THE NEXT TIME YOU VISIT IT; IT WILL HIT DIFFERENTLY BECAUSE YOU'RE IN A DIFFERENT SEASON IN YOUR LIFE.
