    Thank you, I bought some at a Farmers Market today for cheap! I'm going to cook it up right now to your directions and add them to my spaghetti with olive oil!

    I hope you don’t waste the long delicious scape part, I always use the entire thing, finely chop the long part and the bulb is so good with different textures

    Here in Québec Canada we take all the curve tige cut in small piece put it a blender with oil (green garlic pesto)
    We use it for pasta and soup

    I have similar plant but for onions - I think they are called Egyptian walking onions. I use the tiny parts to grow new plants next year, or to pickle them. I have not come across garlic variety that you have and I would love to get it. Can we swap? (I live in Serbia).

    I've never had that part of the scape. They look very appetizing. Are they spicy? I've eaten the other part which is very spicy. Thanks for sharing.

      They taste just like garlic. They have the texture of asparagus when cooked, and the garlic flavor really mellows out.

      I chop the other part and use it as a substitute for garlic in any recipe.

    I don’t know that it can be eaten 😂
