He was probably being detached to try and stay in character for the drama in The Tale of Rose. His character in dramas with Zhao Liying are significantly different to his character in The Tale of Rose. He is a considerate lover with Zhao Liying and an abusive control freak as his character with Lie Yifei. Also, the more dramas you have acted in together the more you get to know the person. I have not seen him in any other dramas with Lie Yifei but has been in multiple ones with Zhao Liying. Stop trying to make something out of nothing!!!

I think before acting together they all should go out to eat hotpot and talk lol to lessen their tense up ❤ this goes out to all dramas I think dinner before play should def help them know more bout each other
Edit: I agree with u first time acting together may not create much chemistry (on the side note I only seen him play 2 dramas with ZLy Shenli and Chuqiao only right?) correct me if I’m wrong
