      @@dennis78382 There are a few things about Rocky Point that reminds us of Rockport. Small fishing town with beautiful views and wildlife :)

    1. Bring or buy 24 packs of beer
    2. Rent a four wheeler/ATV, jet ski, they have many street vendors who will rent you one
    3. Check out the bars and night clubs at night, there's always a big party going on
    4. Stay at one of the resort hotels, you can have a great experience for 3 times less the price than a vacation to any beachside Cali resort
    5. Check out the strip clubs and massage parlors for a good time
    6. The pharmacias in the flea markets if you don't have insurance are a place to get your meds
    7. Drive crazy in the dunes
    8. Party all day and all night, cause Mexico is the party destination

      This isn't even the real Mexico. I find it ignorant of so many Americans who think Mexico is just beach and a party destination. But that's sadly how it is.

      @@porfiriato84 amigo, this video is about a beach town and about what to do while you're there. no one is speaking about mexico's identitiy. relax, have a beer, maybe you need a stay in Puerto Peñasco to lighten up.

    A couple more things to add to the list. Be prepared to get pulled over by local cops and pay cash fines for whatever they come up with, rental ATVs are normally stolen and in horrible condition but they will charge you for damages you didnt do, happy hour prices only last 30 minutes so they can hit you with a bill that's five times more expensive (Mannys Beach Club) ........Make sure and fill up your tank as you get into town because you will be fleeced of all your cash.
    Did I mention all the little tricks they have to get your credit card info and as your driving out of town clean you out of even more? It happens all the time. Rocky point was great 25 years ago, it's now a destination to Rob you of all they can.

      Sounds like you've had some bad experiences, Luke! I'm so sorry to hear that! Definitely want to be careful when renting ATVs. We're spent a lot of time in Rocky Point over the past 10 years and haven't had any issues with police...but that said it's something to be aware of anytime traveling to Mexico. It's something to be careful of for sure!

      Yes, that's the official name of the town. Nicknamed Rocky Point. Kinda like New York City is the Big Apple, or Chicago is the Windy City 🌟

    Out of towners f up the price and everything

    • @EmptyNesterLife
      @EmptyNesterLife  3 місяці тому

      That's one way to look at it. Another way is that out of towners bring money into a local economy. Without the $$ that out of towners bring to areas that rely heavily on tourism, most tourist towns would suffer economically.
