Readings: John 8:1-11; 1 Corinthians 6:1-11
Synopsis:
Mike reminds us that, as Christians, we find our identity in Christ and in what He has done. That it is tied up in God's commands and convenants which our unchanging, and not our feelings which can change from day to day. He encourages us to respond to those sins considered culturally acceptable in the way Christ has modelled with the woman in the passage from John - with compassion and mercy but encouraging people to turn from their sin to receive the true identity found in Christ.
