I'm a jewelry maker, and I'm not cringing. Everyone one has their own way of working with head pins and eye pins. There isn't a right or wrong way as long as it works and you are happy with the outcome.
Thanks ☺️
A ha! So THAT’S how you made your pretty glue bottle dangle!❤
Yep 😁👍🏻😘
Don't know if anyone has suggested this but....if you want to customize the ball of the pin you could use colored nail polish or alcohol markers. 😊
😘👍🏻
50 years ago I used to wear lovely sun hats in the summer. I would go to antique stores to find old hat pins that were 6 or 8 inches long. I have always loved it when everything matched. I would paint the ball on the end of the hat pin with nail polish and let it dry stuck in a pin cushion. I used 2 coats, and let them dry for an hour between coats. Would that work for your orange pin head? That orange would make me crazy lol. Have fun! Hugs, treen 💕💕💕
Thanks 😊
Great ideas. Using found items. Love this.
😘😁👍🏻
Your enthusiasm is infectious Margareth. Thank U.
☺️😘
The green tip is for storing. It doesn’t have a hole in it. You only need to clean it when you take it off after you’re done. It doesn’t dry out as fast as art glitter glue.
I love your glue bottle dangle! The colors are perfect together!! You are so much fun to watch!!!!!
Thanks ☺️
You are going to love the glue. Its great on vellum.. Thank you for sharing the bead dangles,. I pick up dangly earrings at the thrift store and use them for this.
😘👍🏻
Fantastic video, so easy to follow
Thank you so much …😊😊😊
Beautiful as always Miss Margreth. Happy to hear that Mr. Tim is if feeling better and back in the garden. Thank you for sharing and God Bless. 😉💖👍🐇🐣🐤🐥🐰🐞🌹🌵
😘👍🏻
Love your glue dangle. Tfs
Thank you for sharing. I appreciate your cost saving tips so much!!!
Thanks for sharing, I have been wanting to know how to make them.
Margreth, hi you can use the pin that it came with just like you do for Art, it will not rust or dry out. I have both Art & Bart and store them exactly the same with no problems. I love Art and use him 98% of the time, but Bart is great for vellum or parchment paper as it wrinkles less.
Thanks ☺️
Hi what a wonderful idea for the pin - dangles!! I love to make costume jewelry (and didn't cringe) and have lots of beads and findings I can use to achieve this look. I am so glad to have found your video and will subscribe to see what other wonders you have in store for me. Many thanks from Sydney Australia xo
Thanks ☺️
Hi Margreth, fyi for any of your European viewers outside of the Netherlands: I recently contacted Doeading about shipping charges to Austria and I found them to be actually quite reasonable - not at all prohibitive as I have experienced with other out-of-country shipments. Certainly worth checking out 😉 (to Austria €10 for orders up to €50 and €7.50 for orders above €50).
Perfect 👍🏻 thanks for the information lovey 😘
Beautiful !
Thank you 😊
I have been admiring everyone’s dangles, but haven’t got around to looking into it, then low and behold you helped me out. Thanks so much for sharing!
😘👍🏻
Bedankt!!! I have wanted to make this for a while…and here it is! TY!
😊👍🏻
Pretty call him Bearly 😂
Just saw your video on how to make a dangle, was interested to see how you held the dangle to the pin, its a fantastic idea how you did it. I like to bead and what you did was super cool. Will use these ideas to make new dangles, thank you
😁👍🏻
Good evening margreth 😊
I'm a jewelry maker but I didn't cringe. 😊I thought you did well! There are soft, plastic, conical caps for knitting needles that you can put the pin through instead of the earring back. It covers the nozzle and the pin is still in there; the conical cap helps keep the air out so the glue flows.
Thanks 😊
Hi from the WILD n'"Wonderful Hills of West Virginia. I do not knit. What is a conical cap? If I do know what it is I know it by a different name. Thank you!! I hope you have a Blessed Day!! 💜💜💜
Personally, I like bearly art glue as well as I like art glitter. But I find myself being precious with them both because they’re so expensive. So I find myself reaching for Elmers glue-all most of the time, and these (which ever is closest at the time) for very specific things.
😘😊👍🏻
Very nice dangle magreth, wish I could get bearly art in the UK, but unfortunately you need to take out a loan with your bank to buy it 🤣🤣🤣, 🥰😘
So I have heard 😞
I have both. I like Art the best.
😘👍🏻
I have wanted to make a glue stopper, perfect timing for your video.
☺️👍🏻
Loved this video!! I have all the supplies to make dangles, but I wasn't sure what to do. I thought I needed to use jump rings on the chain. Thank you for this!! Good luck with the pin. Thank you again.
☺️😘👍🏻
I use Bearly art glue, and I love it!!!
Brilliantly crafted! ❤🎉
Fabulous as always. Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦
😘👍🏻
Been using Bart for over a year and I find that it seems to have a bit longer time for moving something if you need to adjust a piece and it ships during the freezing weather without any issues. Enjoy it and adorable dangle! TFS the inspiration!
😊👍🏻
So pretty.
I have been looking for instructions on how to make these. Thank you.
😘👍🏻
Ik heb met je meegedaan, het was gezellig en hopelijk raak ik mn speld nu niet meer kwijt, dank je wel!!! ❤
☺️👍🏻😘
Bart is the only glue I use! I don’t even put the pin in overnight and I have no issues. I LOVE this glue! Can’t wait to see what you think of it! Love your dangles!❤
😊😘
It's cute dear Margreth. I learn to make a Dangle. Thank you so much 😊
😘👍🏻
I prefer Bearly Art, mainly because of the shorter bottle and better tip. It’s really easy to clean that tip if you leave it sitting without the pin, too. I store mine with the pin and it’s fine.
😊👍🏻😘
Loved the demo!!
i don't use (B)Art but this dangle is lovely, thanks for showing us the making of.
👍🏻😊
Thank you for showing how to make one! I’ve been wondering.
😘👍🏻
Love it
For what it's worth, I've kept my pin in my Bearly Art glue for the longest time. No problem as long as the pin is stainless steel. I say that because I bought the mini and did that for the longest time with no problem. I then bought a 4 oz one and did that did end up rusting after a long time BUT IT COULD BE ME, I might have accidently changed the pin with one that I thought was stainless steel but was not. I cleaned out that tip, the rust color hadn't gone into the glue, just the tip. I've got one more pin in my glue box (hench my thought I accidently switched pins). I'm testing that one by placing in a little cup of water before I use it in the glue.
👍🏻😊
I have wanted to make one of these after seeing yours for Art! Love the green- I am having trouble finding a base pin that won't rust and fit in my fine point tip. I will persevere and make one today!!!! Thanks for the inspiration and motivation! Thanks for the links to the other dangle videos.
Amazon has the non rust pins
Beautiful and easy, looking forward to making some while I follow along
😊👍🏻
I love these dangles!
Thanks 😊
Loved the video! I watched the other video with the wire, but like this method better. My first dangle was from a Chico's necklace from the thrift store and just disassemble it into many pieces. I used the end with the crab claw attached to the pin with a double loop earring back. Quick and easy! I will make another dangle using your method for my "Bart" glue bottle. I think Art Glitter tries faster than Bearly with less wiggle room.
😘👍🏻
I use both glues and think they are both excellent. I have always just used the pin in “Bart” 😂. I recently made a topper for the art glitter and used a rubber earring backer. It slides over the tip and seals very nicely, reducing how often the glue clogs.
Sería interesante verlo.
😊👍🏻
Great video
It is great to use on vellum. I love it.
Thanks ☺️
I may attempt this dangle. This is the only brand of glue I use. You CAN store it with the pin in. That's how I do it- with that ultra fine pin.
😘👍🏻
Super cute! Can’t wait to see your opinion of the glue. I’ve never tried it before! 🤗❤️
😊😘
I store mine with the pin. Love Bearly Art glue. Never tried Glitter glue. Love your videos!
Thanks 😊
Awesome inspiration again my friend! I’ve been wanting to make one for a long time now. I’ll give it a go! Thanks for sharing. 🥰
😊😘👍🏻
Yes the glues both stay fine with a pin in their nozzles. I have both
Thanks 👍🏻
Thank you… been wanted by to learn to do this?
👍🏻😁
Your dangle is so cute!
Thanks 😊
Leuk!💚
Jaaa top idee
🤭😍
Yay… I have been wanting to make a glue stopper! Thank you Margreth❤
😘👍🏻
Most of us keep the pin inunless we won't be using for severaldays
I have used a pin in my Bearly Art, Glue, no dangle.. that is next. I keep mine tipped toward then top. The glue does not run out yet it is aways there and no drying-out either. It is always ready to use tipped toward its head.. My glue stands on its head and always ready to use. I find it quite very much like Art Glitter glue. Only it can be shipped in the winter months.. I live in North East Michigan, USA.. as of this date we still have a plenty of snow and it is 35 degrees Fahrenheit.
😘👍🏻
Funnily enough I just purchased some Bearly Art too lovey! Great minds LOL Haven’t used it yet but looking forward to trying it. Lovely dangle! 🥰❤️🇦🇺xxx. PS Got mine here in Australia too 😊
😘👍🏻
I'm from Texas and my husband and I both love watching you. I love the Bart glue 😊 and I leave the pin in all the time.
Hi Texas 😘
Last time you let him out alone he hurt himself! Keep an eye on him!😊
😂😂😂
Thank you so much for showing how to make this lovely stopper! Gorgeous!
😘👍🏻
I store mine with the pin, no problem! Also, I forgot to add the pin one night and totally expected it to be clogged! It was not!
👍🏻😘
weer mooi geworden Margreth! maar ik ben erg benieuwd naar de lijm. het is net iets duurder als de art glitter glue... en die bevalt mij prima moet ik zeggen . bedankt weer voor je filmpje😬😘😊
😊👍🏻
LOL, I do the same thing... color-match my dangles to the bottles. It makes for easier glue bottle identification from across the table, right? Hugs and I'll see you tomorrow. MK 🤗❤️🌵❤️🤗 QUESTION... reference the pins to stop up the glue bottles... what if we spray painted them with a coat of clear? Would it stop the rust? IDK, I just thought of it.😊
Could work 🧐
We were planning on making these today! I am so glad you did this!
😘👍🏻
I think you should name the bottle Bear. So cute
It is already listening to Bart 😂
@@SevenplazaCreative Bart is way better 😊
love how you made this, will definitely be making one for my Art 💕💕😊
😘👍🏻
Your videos are so beautiful and I can’t wait each day to see what things you create!
Thank you so much ☺️
"It rolled off to the right"...me shouting at my TV when you lost the black bead!😂 I have just ordered myself a bottle of Art ( Bear price😦 😮) and a needle and metal tip. I probably don't need these but I want. And now I can make a lovely dangle. ❤😊
😂👍🏻😘
Thanks for this tutorial! I’ve been meaning to learn to do this! 🫶🏼
😘👍🏻
💜💜💜
Thanks for sharing this method! I’ll be making one for my bottle too! I have Art not Bart!
😊👍🏻
I use the pin for storage, I do clean the tip regularly though.
😘👍🏻
I’ve been using Bearly Art for a year or so, and love it. But, I always see you and others using Art Glitter Glue so I actually just ordered some of that last week to try. Love the dangles! And I’ve always cleaned the cap after use and then store with the pin in, never any issue.
😘👍🏻
Thank you for making this dangle. I have been using Bearly art for over a year and love it. Very compatible with Art I think. Because of where I live (freezing) Bearly is a better fit for me. My husband just bought me the large bottle for Christmas.
😘👍🏻
I bought Bearly Glue about 8 months ago to try and love it. I use the pin to store like my Art glue. But also have a big bottle of Art. Love both. Your glue dangle is gorgeous. I need to make them for each of my glue bottles. I just use the pin.
Thanks ☺️
Love my bearly art glue! Works excellent on vellum without showing thru and the weather temp doesn't affect it!
😘👍🏻
I think I'm going to have to hunt through my junk and see about making one of those.....mind you, I can't find where I put the fine tip for the art glitter glue. How much hunting do you do before going and buying another tip? 🤔
Depends on the size of the craftroom/mess 😂
@@SevenplazaCreative Yeah, you're right. I should just buy a new one. 😉😁
Gracias mi amor no se si viste mi mensaje pidiéndotelo gracias mil están hermozosssssssssss
👍🏻😘
Has anyone else had a problem with their pin rusting. I was so confused when my glue started turning red, this is my first time using art glitter glue so I wasn't sure what was happening but it turned out the pin was rusting 😮
You need a stainless steel pin 😊
@@SevenplazaCreative haha, thanks! I made a dangle from the first video you made and I loved it so much💕💕 then I started making dangles for everything 😂
I have no video picture.😢
Sorry dear, try it again . Must be something with your device or internet connection
