I would just like to say that B.A.P is one of the masters of Korean/Japanese badass concepts and their way of pulling them off is so distinct and king-ish. Yeah, others can do badass too but there's just something about B.A.P which makes you feel a different badass vibe. And maybe that's why other people aren't used to seeing them pull off a quirky concept. They just have this certain musical charisma which can't be compared to other groups.
BAP has always given a mature vibe even when the hyungline were in their early 20's and a Youngjae who is a fluffy dork offstage. The fact BYG is the leader and give off a mature bad boy aura plays a lot
I think this one reason why korea has an issue with BAP in my view. look at the image of all the artists topping the digital ranks. 90% are girls (sometimes cute girls) or boys with even "badass" concept looks like teenagers for me
+Grace Mandoumou lol true. BAP are simply too badass and intense for Korea. Even with something like Feel So Good where they're utterly dorky and bright- they still give off this mature artistic feel. I don't think Korea can handle them...
