    Hi Baron.
    Don't put barrels next to barbed wire! They blow up and drestroy the wire dude! Put the barrels right in front of your base man.

    Baron if you are using mercineries in your hq spawning card, you can make it more effecitive by upgrading its perks.

    Baron i think u can take minimum wage off your bombardier and upgrade to gold because you have 2 silver minimum wages left unuesd. And check other troops for better perks. And when using mines place teargas infront a huge group (make sure its in front to make sure all are dead instead of only taking out 3 rpgs). And fix up your bunkers to better positions by moving things back so if the walls get blown they still shoot there. And plz plz plzzzz use snipers in defence.

    LIKE SO BARON CAN SEE, PLEASE.
    First, spread out your AA Guns to cover more of the base.
    Secondly, try to make mazes out of walls and rock to confuse attackers. Don't only make them go forward, but make them go backward too.
    Thirdly, put barbed wire and barrels in the maze and make the mortars fire wherever they are placed. It would cause so much chaos.
    Fourthly, to make a choke point more effective, have multiple angles of fire on it. The purpose of choke points is to allow crossfire.

    Baron, I don't know if you noticed my comment last time, but it's very Important for base upgrade, I could copy it again under this video if you want. It's a key tactic to upgrade your base when you get to higher levels

    Baron, use the HQ Squad that gives you the SGT. grenadier and 6 grunts. SGT, will give troops extra damage. You need to remember, that when you assault a base you exploit it's weakest points. Your weak point is top where the arty is. With a missile strike and focus fire, three of your bunkers could be destroyed in 1-2 waves. Try to make your defenses in < shape so they can support one another if one flank falls. I think you should stop relying so heavily on the rocks for defense too. The bots will walk into your choke point but a real opponent will avoid your choke points every chance they can get. Set traps hide your vulnerable flanks and protect them. Also, try to use tank traps, they seem to be stronger than walls.

    carpet bombings only good if you use 2 or more of them simultaneously...if you do so you can potentailly wipe out an entire wave before your troops encounter them

    The tents can have 3 or 4 groups max. Until those groups die, the tents can't produce.

    Put the sandbags behind the walls so the bombardiers can shoot over the walls and replace one of the bombardiers tent and turn it to rpg

    To make a choke point more effective, have the enemy units hug a wall or rock, so that they enter the choke point one by one. This means that there's a focal point for the firepower

    Move the barrels, it’s your troops that reach them first and get killed, not the enemy, and the barrels destroys the barded wire

    If you want to be able to AFK 30min+ CPU defense waves, simply create a long distance between 12 sandbags in front of 3 tents that only spawn snipers. REMOVE the HQ Squad card that deploys troops every 60 seconds (they will cause Snipers to get killed with stray shots, or enemy units that miss will cause the snipers to fire back at what shot them even if slightly out of range - and since the bullets can pierce multiple targets, it can cause units that don't get one shot, like Rocketeers, to ALSO retaliate beyond even the Sniper's 30 range, breaking your sandbag line). It's a crap defense versus players, but a narrow choke point will make twelve snipers piercing targets for multi-hits wreck when the AI isn't using cards against you. A sandbag with an engineer veteran to keep the sniper sandbags from breaking will complete the defense, otherwise you'll get random results depending on when the sandbags eventually go down. You can do it with under 1k base power as long as you have snipers, sandbags/tank traps, and a few funnel walls. My personal best in CPU Defense is 56:08, which was all with me AFK - I can't even remotely reach that while AFK with a base that actually works versus players, but CPU Defense sends waves of troops that players could never send due to deployment cooldown, munitions cost, etc. It's important to note that the timed rewards stop coming at 30minutes, the only rewards from then on are the munitions dropped from kills which you have to click on to get before they fade away - meaning beyond 30minutes gives no further rewards if you aren't actually playing.
    You can still run the game in the background (muted) on CPU Defense for 50k-ish munitions while you play a different game or whatever, easy free munitions for base upgrades. Just surrender and restart the CPU Defense every 30minutes, and it adds up while taking only a few seconds of your time per hour if you are already on the computer. All the upgrades and card packs you could ever desire, which is important to the free players.

    Baron, back to my previous comment, you should remove all sandbags temporarily and put down the tank traps where you want. Veterans take dominance over tent spawned troops. This means that, in a way, you can guide your veterans to a certain area. If you spawn only snipers/sharpshooters from your tents and put the sandbags far away from the front line, they can wreak havoc. In my personal opinion use snipers because they can one shot units and far more accurate than the less accurate and less damaging sharpshooters. It's your call and your base. You also have a GOLD rapid deployment perk! USE IT! Also, for your troops, look at their medals and see what you can get. Many have -20% or -25% spawn cool down.Thank you to everyone for liking the comment. Keep up the great work Baron!!!

      about the sarpshooters and snipers the bonus of the sarpshooters thay can survive bettr in médium range or even in short range thanks to the semi-automatic rifle

      McBoomer, sharpshooters with tier V damage perk, and tier V Fire Rate perk and vs. sniper with tier V damage perk, Tier V Fire Rate perk do more damage overall. 558 (damage) times 1 (accuracy) times .51 (fire rate) =284.58 average dafr (damage to accuracy to fire rate ratio) vs. sharpshooter 136 (damage) times .89 (accuracy) times 2.96 (fire rate) = 358.2784 dafr 358-284 = 74 dafr (therefore sharpshooters deal more damage overall) although generally snipers could be better in some situations against units with far retaliate range they are bad when they waste all of their damage on a grunt with no piercing. Sharpshooters, on the other hand, tend to fight large amounts of troops easier but have trouble with Rocketeers since they can fire back and completely desolate them. Anyway, that is the overall trade-off. I'm not really a veteran of this game so I can't really say which is better, just stating facts.

      the hq don't affect so much, only add more constructible places,. you can upgrade your buildings at max without having a really upgraded hq

    Baron, at the beginning of your base close the upper and lower routes, and make the enemy funnel in so that you can attack from all sides and be prepared if they destroy the side walls and still be able to fire and not get flanked..

    Your first sniper tower can't shoot over the bunker so you should move it behind the top wall so the enemy's will have to go around to kill it

    Maybe put a long sand bag in between the two big rocks near the first machine gun that the enemies first encounter. Also that metal wall in front of that machine gun allows RPG’s and such hide and take out the gun in chunks and it easily then let’s them destroy the sniper tower behind it to eventually take out the base. Lastly if you put fast track on the mercenaries and rid of the barrels that if lit would normally kill them and put the barrels further away from the base where the enemy comes in at it’s first squad the mercenaries would destroy the barrels and the enemy with nothing else. 🤓

    Baron if you want a successful defence you should make your choke points as narrow as possible and put barbed wire in the way also try to reduce the enemy troops range as much as possible so rocketeers and snipers cant take out your troops from distance

      Kind of depends on how you use them but yeah assaults would be better (although I agree with deltor 12 that rangers are the best for just filling in a bunch of units)

    Baron, you have a HQ squad with 6 grunts, one grenade lanucher and a sergeant. You should use that instead of your special support card or trading grounds card because a grenade lanucher can take down some strong enemy units with its grenade lanucher very early.

    Baron, please read! Use a medic card as ur HQ card that pumps out (so like 4 assault, 5 grunts, one medic. As the medic goes up front, he heals all your men!

      not really... i saw someone with super buffed up assaults defeat my base using only assaults... they had like max movespeed.. automatic regen from hats and just massacred everything... that was before i switched to using rangers for base defense though.. assaults are definitely stronger than grunts by alot... they have alot more hp than grunts do and range means nothing... if something is shooting at them.. their range becomes the same as their enemy.. so range doesnt matter that much.. ive seen assaults sniping my snipers... as retaliation strikes have unlimited range

      there is actually... if a unit is hit it can fire back at whatever hit it (assuming it survives) assuming a unit can survive the shot it can fire back at whatever shot it... doesn't matter how far away they are.. my rangers survive sniper shots and immediately shoot the sniper where its standing no matter how far away it is... this works for static building defenses as well... its why if you use focus fire on a building it will immediately fire back.. even if its outside its normal range.

      I'm not a veteran but, sometimes the units don't shoot back when my defense units (sharpshooters), is that because they are aggroed towards something else, so that is why I thought that, anyway thanks for clarifying.

    Put snipers,bombardiers, and grunts
    Bombadiers to stun for the snipers to snipe the mass snipers are by them selves are soo good no units could enter your base for at least a good 20 mins and also add grunts to make it a constant spawn of troops since they will come every couple seconds making them better and if you put a rapid deployment on snipers they can come every 12 seconds so that is all watch this video for design

    I have a lot of small points to sharpen from your video :p
    -Last stand cards spawn one of whatever troop it says the moment your HQ takes damage. This typically happens from a stray bullet long before your defenses are gone btw.
    -Tents spawn one wave just as the battle starts (already in cover) and then 3 more before they stop. They will only start spawning again once the unit they have spawned drops below 3 on the field.
    -I do suggest the engineers, rangers, and bombardiers spawning from the tents. I also suggest you change their PERKS to rapid deployment to keep them spawning faster from the tents. You also need a PERK for your mercenaries, because they also spawn from your HQ. Just not rapid deploy on them.
    -You can blow up any rocks in your base with little penalty, because there is a "reset base" option for 200 gold that puts all the rocks back again :p
    -Also upgrading your HQ to the final level gets you 3 more unit cap in battle and extends the build area past the farthest ruins.

    Specials such as land mines, missiles, etc, will also affect your own buildings and units. During Computer Defense, don't use such cards in barbed wire unless necessary. A base design that I use is build a very large wall extending from the beginning to the end of your base. However, leave the entire area in the middle clear, then block it off with the highest level walls you can build. Remember! If The middle walls break, then your entire base is gone. At the end area, put a bunker and as many sniper towers as you can, and put snipers in your tent.

    Tents give a max of 3 waves at once. Not counting the first wave that auto defends at the start of a battle. If you have one tent with grunts. you will get a max of 15 grunts, the cool down for another wave starts when it's lowered by 5. if you have 2 tends you can have 30 grunts, a tent will que for more grunts when your not 25 but the 2nd wont que till your not 20.
    You lowkey want your sandbags being to hold a max of 2 waves from all tents. So the added waves they spawn can charge in and die. If the first wave dies then added waves can fill for them and still keep your waves pumping out and pressing back at all times. Yet it depends since some of the units that take over 120s to spawn you wouldn't mind all 3 waves hiding behind sandbags so that rule is mostly for assaults and grunts.

    HEY BARON get rid of rangers in your tents and replace em with mercenaries they are better ,give them health &damage and upgrade your bunkers atleast 3 lvls more this will boost your base up a lot also get grunty hq squad more men = more bullets also add surgeons to your tents so you got mercenaries, bombardiers,&surgeons

    Hey for cards with paratroopers, try using 3 para and 1 tear gas. drop paras first then put smoke down when they land.

    Baron don't use flame barrels they are destroying barb wire, use the gas ones instead if you want to do that. Also the sniper tower behind the machine gun barely gets to shoot because lack of vision move it the main defense or switch it out for more walls or traps.

    you should try to drop a decoy at the back of the enemy along with some para troops on the sides. That way you can probably drop a missile. but make sure they're grouped up.

    Yo baron get your mortars firing at the same area it'll be chaos. Use for instance a field of barb wire where the mortars fire at for maximum effect. like so he can see :)

    Baron, in my opinion get rid off all hq squads, because if someone brings flamers and your hq squad is on the middle of barbed wire the barbed wire will be pointless, remember this is JUST MY OPINION so no one get butt hurt if it's a bad idea

    Use flamethrowers and the chemist because no one uses posion resist or toxic resist and both of these units are very effective against heavy units and clustered infantry, they also don't cause too much damage to structures if they miss unlike the bombradier and the RPG

    First, stash everything to clearly view your base. Secondly, Put your tents vertical (so your cc can fire on units firing on your tents) in a line in front of your cc. Put 2 sniper towers right in front of your cc one on the left. One on the right. With a bunker in the middle. 2 short sandbags in front of the sniper towers one long sandbag in front of the bunker. Then put an AA gun directly in front of the long sandbag to cover the sandbags and towers and bunker use 2 AA if needed for best coverage. This is your last stand defense. The next line should have 2 bunkers one on top and one on bottom with sniper covering middle. 1 small bag in front of the sniper and 2 long in front of your bunkers. Place them by your AA guns so they dont get targeted by missiles or bombing runs. Further out is your decision. Make a walled maze with sandbags inside the maze so that when units round the corner they are hit by your units and hopefully killed instantly if you have flamers in them.

    Now I realize the futility of my original strategy...Baron, if my plan is going to work, then you will need to double down on saving for that HQ upgrade. Currently you have almost the full allotment of land assorted to a regular guns up player, and once you buy that upgrade, turn that land along with the land you aren’t using now into a killing field. No cover, no rocks(unless they work as walls then keep them), no trees, no bushes nothing.
    In the First World War, the space between trenches of the opposing sides was known as the “No mans land” this was full of corpses of soldiers who failed to take their enemy’s side, Barb wire, and a lot of craters from all of the shelling. So if you get what I’m trying to say here is that when you demolish the land you aren’t using, make it a killing field. Use your spare walls to build a sort of cover for your defensive armaments you plan to utilize(I would recommend Bunkers for this) to give your attacker more to shoot at before they get to the actual bunker themselves. And angle the walls so that the bunker can still shoot straight, but it’s flanks are still well protected. As for those craters I mentioned earlier, I know they aren’t possible in-Game, but you could concentrate several mortar installations on one spot(perhaps in conjunction with the walls you could use to shield your bunkers) to maximize effect(as several other people have mentioned).
    As for your infantry, I recommend also doubling down in your efforts to get the Rambo unit, because when the enemy breaks through the first line, you need them along with the bombardiers at the sandbags(can be long or short, whatever works) lying in wait. I recommend that you shield these soldiers with sniper towers to pick off heavier units that could inflict serious damage and to up the anti(see what I did there) shield those sniper towers with anti-air emplacements.
    So yeah, that’s my take on what you(Baron) should do. You don’t have to use all of my ideas, but it is fun to speculate on what may occur. Have a good day to all of my fellow members of the Baron’s Brigade community, where ever or who ever you are. Peace!

    Notice, baron, how noone goes in the sandbags behind the first row. You can fix this by creating a line of sandbags side by side. Not enough room? Then MAKE SOME ROOM, DAMN IT

    Level 24, yet still having a better tme than Baron on the CPU def. ;P :D (I dont even use any tactics like all snipers shooting in one long line, also O don't have any heroes/heroic perks... and not paying for gold :P)

    LIKE SO BARON SEEI would have two choke points first one being using the rockstars little bit behind what you have now and walls focusing on mid choke point two bunkers position barely so they don't cross fire but come from both sides at once snipers and mortar being protected by AA if they missile the bunkers because they aren't protected they waste for next choke point second one I would have bunker first, sniper kind of hidden but in range tents next with mortar and aa place barb wire in choke point sand bags wherever

    The mortar in the far right is a bad placement. Remove the huge rock next to your bunker and move some of your things. Then move some things a bit back so you can place the mortar with the rest of the critical mass. For the time being, as you don't have enough walls and is currently being strangled by rocks, place the mortar back where it can have the same area targeted by the other mortar. Having both mortars well protected and firing one spot will make sure that the other mortar will not go to waste. AA gun coverage is pretty good, so don't worry about it... yet. The top bunker of the critical mass is far too vulnerable. Rotate it slightly so it can defend itself a bit just in case the enemy decides to avoid your pre placed choke point.

    BARON READ THIS! works like a charm for me.
    Make 2 lines of defense, first line should have 2 access points, 1 with barb wire 1 without. This will take advantage of AI pathing and make them arrive in smaller quantities( due to separation and separate medics from other units. Pair this with rocket launchers (bombardiers will mess up the timing due to stunning), rangers and snipers. Make sure to have metal walls!

    Please Baron, bring Red Barrels far from the first walls section. Try also to put the first bunker protected. I think the aim should be to make enemy come out in front of it. Explosive units and sharpshooters will lose their advantage in that case. Finally i think walls and wire are misplaced...

    this game seems more or less like rock, paper, sccisors. Mass units(grunts) seem to counter snipers. snipers counter more specialized units(grenadiers, MGs, Rambo, etc.) and those units counter mass infantry with their high fire rate and explosives.

    Hey Baron, in case you didn't know explosive barrels can also get rid of your barb wires. I would recommend you to move the explosive barrels further from your first chokepoint's barb wire, in range where the motor can hit it so it can last longer.

    The pvp issue will probably be fixed in the next update, the devs already found the problem thankully.
    Also in defense you want to mamke the chokepoint as small as possible it will help in controling the flamethrower guys and the medics.
    Also i think that if you were to use the mg´s you need to make them as tanky as possible, and if you were to use the rpg guys you need to use a fast reload perk

    Why not put that second anti air behind the bunker so it protects itself from fire and the bunker, sniper tower, tent, and motor from airstrikes? (the Anti Air That's in between the two sniper towers)
    And also why don't you retaliate more? You get extra cards if you win.
