I use to skate from age 12 to 19 and just wasn't into it, the lockdown happened and I decided to start skating again. It was like finding an old love. Started watching skate videos and this dude blew my mind, defending my new favorite skater. Glad you guys got him, also my new fav podcast 👌.
Another thing I noticed is what Crob picked up on, his logic and science that he puts into skating rails, he doesn’t just ‘send it’ there’s methodical thinking behind each one of his grinds, it’s interesting and factual. Love it man

Skaters do some really gnarly shit too, that could kill them, but climbing a 3000 ft sheer face with nothing but your wits and some chalk is some fucked up shit. You won’t walk away. Fall and it’s done.

Have them for Elevensies (yes, I do come from pre-WW1, 😂), or for Afternoon Tea (if you haven't guessed by now, I am British 😂😂) - i.e. later in the morning/day once you've already had a proper brekkie and are already out & about and active! But having cakes and sweets for actual breakfast is just weird
I did the windex cleaning trick to my bearings and I love them they roll better than I’ve ever had them roll after cleaning with acetone and lubing them dry bearings are truly better

I also stopped using grease. Everytime I cleaned my bearings I was wondering why the greased bearing rolled slower and didn't make the sound. Surprise surprise, my bearings were way nicer without the grease or at least very little grease. No dirt, fast and noisy bearings. PERFECT
I love the part when they talk to the skater about board set ups, so many people have superstition over certain things and personal preferences over things, it’s great to listen to the variations amongst pro skaters
Man, I feel like longevity in this game is gonna come down to those that are genetically predisposed to not being injury prone, nutrition and weight training etc. all the respect in the world for Neen. Hopefully Jamie starts eating some spinach and lettuce on his burgers so we can watch him for many years to come!
Spinach and ricotta tortilini. I used to make those for the homies, with a sauce I'd make from green pesto, cream and a little bit of white wine, if I had any. People used to go nuts for it. I used to be in a hardcore band, and on our myspace page, that dish was in the list of influences :'D

You can use MAF or Electronic parts cleaner to degrease your bearings, and also remove dirt/dust.
