Unsure where this was recorded but as others have pointed out, the mountain areas towards the shorelines are a paradise for some serious biking. You can easily see and meet people hanging out and climbing those hills - some well in excess of 150mph/240kmh. Sure accidents happen - had a few friends sent to the hospital with broken ribs, collar bones, arms and legs, but it is all part of the fun and enjoyment this scenery brings up. Take care out there, enjoy the scenery and keep stretching those cables!

I wish you well but if for any reason you need to go to a public hospital because of an emergency, like a broken foot, appendicitis or whatever, according to the Brazilian laws, they have to take anybody no matter if it´s a foreighner or Brazilian. The public health system is a public service free of extra charges (they´re already included in the federal and local taxes). Public health in Brazil has some similarities with public health in UK. It´s not like in the USA that will cost you an arm and a leg. Hahaha. Take care and have fun in Brazil!

@@JustBrapz i wouldn´t trust this info to the letter. We do have a public health system called SUS (not SUS at all xD) but it´s broken to say the least. Public hospitals are not well mantained and there´s lack of medics everywhere. One might get lucky, but it can take from a few hours to months (even years) to schedule a surgery. If you break a bone, they will stop the bleeding and save your life but surgery to get it properly fixed is a whole different thing.
I would advise you to get a private medical plan, which can cost (for brazilian citizens, i really dunno how that works for visitors) as low as $50 a month (and that´s a really good plan) and can save you a lot of trouble down the road. But something tells me you already have this covered before you left the UK. Right? 😅
That being said, I really hope you never need to worry about it, can enjoy your stay and keep brapping! And if you ever come to Minas Gerais, let us know so we can have some fun together. We´ve got some amazing roads here too. Cheers, m8!

@@JustBrapz you must visit Florianópolis and Balneário Camboriú! There are some beautiful beaches at Gov. Celso Ramos too, near Florianópolis.
@@JustBrapzI highly recommend Sao Paolo which is the most well-developed state and rich, with better infrastructure, and more bike riders.
Avoid the city of sao paulo and rio d janeiro, the rest of these two states are a little better

If you ever come to Paraná, there are a lot of biker here in the capital and some nice stretches of twisting highways going to the coast from the capital, i think the asphalt is not so good right now, but a new company will take over and fix it soon i think

@@JustBrapz definitely wait until 277 guets itself fixed lol but the road here is truly great!! Also going from curitiba to SC's coast, like florianopolis would make a great video like this one, just chilling going up and down mountains. Great great ride with an amazing end goal!
