I really do want to try the one chip. I just can't find one or 2 really cheap enough. I'm glad you didn't mind the change of pace with this. It's always scary doing something different. I actually enjoy that form of punishment from time to time. I especially do when the hit stuff has good flavor which this did not.
Oldsmokey : Yeah eating hot stuff that has no flavor just isn't very much fun. Although if you look back at the video there's a moment where it looks like you're about to rub your eye and if you had done that with all that stuff on your fingers from the chips I think your video would have ended right then. Ask me how I know this? LOL

No doubt. That crystal pepsi didn't put the burn out I can tell you that. I think it made it worse than drinking nothing. I love crystal pepsi though. Thank god I grabbed a few this supposed last release ever.

It's so hard for me to film myself and as you could see the lighting was horrible. It's sooooo much easier filming and also editing these non ration videos. Plus it's fun I just hope my regular fan base doesn't mind the change of pace every now and again.

Maybe once I'm not on crutches and have both my hands free I'll be able to film myself easier. But yeah that's what I'm trying to do is ease into the different things.
You pretty much have to to stay relevant, also maybe a gorilla pod would help you i just use my phone and that when the camera man isnt around

LOL Literally munching on a bag of those as I watch this video. They're not too bad as you're eating them but definitely builds and lingers. Usually a bag of chips this size will be gone in 2 days at most but been working on this bag for aver a week now lol.

Yeah they don't have good flavor. If they did I'd consider eating them again but there was like no flavor and just heat. I will eventually do the one chip challenge. I did discover a company that claims to have a similarly hot chip. I might grab x2 of those.

Congratulations Smokey, great job! Your son did great too (I consider bowing out 10 seconds early to be pretty much completing it)! Me, I could NEVER do that! My wife probably could. She's a fan of the hot stuff. Not for me though. The Crystal Pepsi makes me want to listen to Van Halen's "Right Now" (shameless 90s reference). It's probably not too surprising to hear that I like seeing the "different" videos, since I'm guilty of making them myself--despite the lack of viewership that mine tend to get. Keep up the great work!
I enjoy all the "different" videos that you've made. I think I'm kinda getting to the point where I hope people like it but it's really ok if they don't or decide not to watch. I love hot stuff but I like it to taste good usually. These chips didn't have really any flavor other than a bland corn chip. I liked the mre cracker challenge video you made back in the day. I would try but I'm such a slow eater there's no way I'd be able to do it.
P.S. I just wanted to give him a hard time about the 10 seconds. I think he did a fine job. I have a company sending me some chips that are supposed to be the hottest chips ever. They have a one chip as well. I'll give details in the video I make. Maybe I can get some other reviewers in on the new one chip challenge haha. They said they'd send extras for me to spread around. I'm excited for sure.

i love these chips they were here in cedar city utah for amin and use to buy them all the time wish they come back.
They are definitely warm but I didn't think they had a good flavor.
Great video Smokey! I have had the Paqui Ghost Pepper chips and although they are hot the flavor is not the greatest, but i do like the hot stuff and they do deliver. If you want to step it up a notch I would be more than happy to send you a bundle of the Korean Hot Chicken ramen packs for you and your sons. I order a 10 pack a month and even though they are hot the flavor is really good. Just let me know!

Are they really, really hot? I actually found the only other company in the U.S that I know of doing the one chip challenge chips of their own. They are hooking me up with some. I'm excited and a little bit apprehensive about trying those out. They are on eBay in little round metal tins.
Yes they are quite hot. I enjoy spicy foods and when i am about finished with a bowl of this ramen my nose is running and my eyes are starting to water.
They sound like a challenge in their self. I'm already brainstorming how to do a mix up of some kind of multiple hot food challenge.
I thought about that too and it seems you have to hunt down food items that are actually hot out of the package like the ramen and the Paqui chips, but there are thousands of hot sauces out there so you would have to make your own hot/spicy food item. An example would be a hot dog with 2 to 4 packs of Taco Bell fire/diablo sauce on it. I have about 15 hot sauces in my pantry and i have learned one thing about the majority of them. If they do not list the Scoville Units on the package, then it is usually not that hot, but that does not mean they taste bad. The biggest exception i give to this is Dave's Gourmet. They have been around a long time and their sauces are quite hot and do not list the Scoville Units. But this is just my observations about hot sauces so far. I never said i was an expert :)
Just wanted to let you know i only had 1 pack of ramen left here at the house, and did not know if your sons wanted to try them or not, so i re-ordered some for myself and sent a 5 pack to your P.O. box straight from Amazon. Tracking says it should be there Wednesday.

I like LA Beast’s older videos, but not so much lately. He has gotten away from what’s made him popular, with the eating challenges. Now he seems to only do live streams and weird science stuff. With maybe a food challenge very seldom. But great video! I’ve wanted to try those chips , but haven’t got too yet.
I really like the Beast. What's Going on is UA-cam has changed and he makes his living working on here so he's trying to make more advertiser friendly videos I'd say. They are really screwing over some of their best channels in my opnion.

Dude that's hilarious I buy those all the time I love them but they are very hot next time try opening the bottom first you won't be able to eat 5 remember their manufactured shipped and stored with the top up all the hot seasoning salt to the bottom of the really hot stuff turned upside down and eat it see what happens😂😄👍🚒

I actually turned the bag over and shook it done before we started filming. I tried to pick out the best ones. Eventually I'll find one of the one chip challenge chips. I can't justify paying $30+ for one chip. I'll try anything hot like that at least once. My buddy grows some really hot ghost peppers and he'd make salsa that we'd eat at work. We would eat as much as possible without taking a drink of anything for as long as possible.
Boy the way you were rubbing your eyes can't believe they weren't burning. And I believe I will go with steve1989 on this one if it was me I would eat 2 scoops of ice cream cool the burn on the other end cuz you know it is coming!

Unfortunately the crystal pepsi is gone now. The last release a few months ago is supposed to be the last one ever. So the only place I'd know where to get any would be eBay.

I'm excited because I'm working on a deal with the other hot chip maker that does a one chip. They are willing to send a few and a few extras to may e experiment with some other people or do whatever with. I might give one away to someone willing to film and post it or something. But I'm excited. I think the ghost pepper chips are hot but it's not unbearable. I want to get my a#$ kicked.
Oldsmokey thats how i did it with the reaper. I had one hell of a endorphine rush my first time. Its the legal high but stay away from the extracts. They taste horrible
I've thought about the extracts but there so damn expensive. Plus I'm sure they taste like chemicals.

I've got some of the hottest chips in the U.S coming supposedly. I'll tell ya we kinda made it look easy because we both eat alot of spicy stuff. Someone who doesn't eat to many spicy things would have been freaking out. If I were to guess those are probably close to 1 million Scoville. I could be totally wrong but that's just my guess.
He@@ yeah buddy, that is hot alright. Have you seen my channel where I did the super hot noodle challenge and added extra chili sauces? I couldn't finish it, I should have only used half the noodles in the bag. I can never finish a bowl of those Korean noodles, just too much.
I wanted to do the one chip, but the cheapest I saw on Amazon was 36 or 37 dollars. And I couldn't find any of their shippers that would ship here. I wish I knew of any other shippers that would ship here, and at a reasonable shipping price. heck, I'd settle for finding a C Ration pack of Camels.
