Maybe it didn't bend at the first time because the "Notch Thing" wasn't using the canvas size of the skin model, like before it worked because you used the same body part with the Skin Model size/scale/canvas but with the "Notch Thing" you were using a mere image of it without using the skin's size.
i think the bends messed up because the extrusion textures were not as big as the body, so changing that could have fixed it bit still, let's wait for Nimi xD
there's not really much to it add a shape, add a camera, under the shape's texture, select the desired camera i talk about it briefly in my reflections tutorial, both parts

Can't believe this was how bendable extrusions were made. And looking at it now, thats a big change comparing it to now days extrusion bends.
