Why is it so hard to enforce? If they don’t pay issue an arrest warrant. If the employees took money from the register that’s exactly what would happen to them. Theft is only a crime if you are working class or poor apparently

Well said. Easy to enforce justice if the powers that be actually prioritize or act in good faith.

Why well here is an example I was working as a truck driver paycheck bounced and we were told it would be rectified by the suit they sent to talk to us so we did another two weeks ...at the end of it they closed up operations in our state
I went to the labor board with all my documentation got spend four months waiting on a hearing that I won by the company's own admission...so I was waiting to receive what was after another couple months I reported it to the labor board that my judgement was not paid a couple days later they informed me there was nothing they could do because they were an out of state company
Or the local school district that stole from all the drivers and good luck with that

We are attacking the problem all wrong. We are going after the companies of wage theft. The CEOs and board members don't feel the pain directly. If we want change, we need to start fining the CEOs and board members a percentage of their pay and bonuses equal to the offense they caused their workers.

@@kmk967 So, you are saying that the owners of small pizza shops are stealing wages from their workers? After all, that is what we are talking about (wage theft). Are you saying that small pizza shops have the built in excuse that they can steal wages because they are small? Try that excuse in court. Your honor, I only stole from my workers because I was a small pizza shop. I can go now? Thank you.

Still waiting since 1964 to have my adoption nullified, and take back my legal birth certificate. And not have that custody or authority be given back to my biological relatives or their relatives.
As a child I was legally removed from one group of dysfunctional and abusive group of people. And placed into another group of dysfunctional and abusive group of people.
I am in need of a lawyer to represent me. I am okay with going to the United States Supreme Court. Thi is as important as: Brown vs The Board of Education.
There should have been federal legislation written centuries ago; that allowed adopted people to have their adoption nullified.
There should have been legislation in the United States Constitution or in the Bill of Rights or in the Amendments; that allows adopted people to have their adoption nullified. Regardless of their age.
Several law enforcements, the AG of California and the ACLU are a few organizations that have been informed.
Why doesn't my birth certificate have the word: Adopted?
The United States government and judiciary system failed to inform adopted people, upon being adopted their legal problems would begin.
Having an adoption nullified would be similar to divorce laws. Stating abuse, rape and incest. Stating irreconcilable differences and conflict of interests.

I was adopted. The emotional, mental, physical and verbal abuse started on the first day.
      _____
My adopted parents biological son at the age of fifteen started raping me, when I was nine years old.
The people that adopted me/I was forced to live with have been delaying this trial, for over twenty years. They don't want me to testify against them. They've been aiding, abetting and protecting a pedophile.
      ______
      Needed Federal Legislation.
      Adoption Nullification Act:
Allowing adopted people to have their adoption nullified. To be emancipated. Regardless of their age.
This would be an Amendment to the Emancipation Proclamation.
      _____
People are not property. Adoption should not be a form of slavery.
Had there been federal legislation, I would have had my adoption nullified decades ago. And wouldn't have had to post this information.

Easy to enforce justice if the powers that be actually prioritize or act in good faith. Even the State is questionable. IMO. State program managers are skilled at developing creative job descriptions that deem a role clerical, turn it into management, and back to clerical again. Same skills and duties different language. The real difference can be low hourly wage and zero benes to near six figures with full State benes. But they oversee private sector wage theft?? 😢

Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming on you. 2 Your wealth has rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. 3 Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days. 4 Look! The wages you failed to pay the workers who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty. 5 You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves in the day of slaughter.6 You have condemned and murdered the innocent one, who was not opposing you. James 5:1-6 NIV
