Nice lesson. It would be perfect with some examples with tabs and diagrams of the chords and which scales and why play before them. By the way thanks for the lesson!
Great subject to cover! To clarify, this is covered in Dan's new Harmonic Freedom course or the former Fretboard Freedom? I assume the new one but want to be sure.
@@ChaseMaddox your plan is Great ! But I,ve already a good guitar coach/teacher in Brazil . I would like to buy now just the Dan Wilson s course . In the future, maybe get your plan..
Here are 3 things it teaches, and I’ll let you figure out the rest: 1. Have something to say, meaning you first need to have vocabulary and ideas in your playing. 2. Play chords at the end of your lines. 3. Use fingering that allows you to easily form the chord after holding a note.
@@ChaseMaddox telling someone something and teaching someone something are two different things. If I 'taught' like this I would have a bunch of ex students scratching their head at what the hell they just paid for.
@@ChaseMaddox "hey, look at what I just did. Now just do it because I said so." "Hey, look at what I just did, this is HOW you do it and how you should practice it." I'm not getting in an internet argument with you. Its just very jarring that all of your videos have been my latter example, and this video is the former.
@@douglasdiggins8296Look man... no offense, but do you realize how privileged we are to have access to videos of greats like Dan Wilson in HD, demonstrating beautiful line after beautiful line, for FREE in our own home, and you still want it spoon fed to you? Use your ears 😅
Been listening a lot to him recently, what a great player with accessible writing and killer groove
Dan’s the man!
I have been listening to Dan Wilson for a while . What a great player. He comes with the whole package. Wow, thanks, Chase.
My pleasure, Kenyatta! 🤘
Awesome lesson Dan 🤟
Thanks! 😃

Those will be included in the full course 👍

I don't like the way he just pushed Chase Maddox out of the seat and took over.😢
He’s earned it 😄
Man, what does this second Guy there think who he is? He just interrupted the whole video, had to skip until the end ;)... Just kidding, great insight
I know, right? 🤷🏻♂️
Great player. But this video teaches nothing.
