''In the dog house'' is a common phase used everywhere when a husband has to sleep on the furniture or in a kennel (maybe) if he has done something to upset the spouse and sometimes it is serious, othertimes it is trivial matters, but either way, make your that couch/settee of yours has a fold out or is very comfortable.
The idiom "in the doghouse" originated in the novel "Peter Pan". When the father blamed himself for Hook kidnapping his children, be consigns himself to Nana's doghouse in the yard. This is how doghouse related to guilty folks.
Hi James and Millie. Yay, Millie is feeling better!!! I saw the post yesterday that Millie was not feeling well. I'm glad to see she recovered quickly. I'm worried about you guys. You both seem to get sick a lot for being so young! Please take care of yourselves. God bless.
Hi Ronald! This was a pre recorded video! Hopefully Millie is up to recording this weekend! She works with small children so unfortunately picks up a lot of bugs however we have a nasty flu/strep going around at the moment!
@@TheBeesleys99 PLEASE don't rush it, Ms Millie... get the rest you need. Yes, we all know, working with small children and being young yourself, you're gonna pick up every bug out there! It's an occupational hazard, right? And I'm sure you also know about the risks of untreated strep... so get that throat culture or diagnosis or whatever the NHS gives you lot these days. Best wishes! PS... love the doghouse comments below, just wonder when women will get the same, um... privileged treatment and posh accommodations (wink).
If Millie is a teacher who work with little kids, I can see why she would get sick more often. Most people I know who are teachers, or who work in the medical profession get exposed to germs more frequently than most others do. The kids get it, and then the teachers follow suit.
@@TheBeesleys99 well I hope she gets well soon! Hope you guys have a blessed week. Since I don't do IG, it's Twitter the best way to send you pics? I took more pics in San Francisco. Have an awesome day!
Our family was on this show waaay back when Louie Anderson was the host. We had a discussion the night before the taping about what things we thought should be off limits just so something like this didn't happen just like the guy @ 9:25 said. lol
YES, same here. Usually it's something gross one has done or did not do that one SHOULD NOT have done. HOWEVER, one can be UNDER THE DOGHOUSE pending repeated gross stupidity and wondering 'What? Why?' Tic Tock
Just so you know in regards to the answers that appear on the board aren't always literal. That answer covers a number of responses that all mean the same thing. If you remember the answer was "Die\Eaten by Hyenas". The real answer is that the Ex dies and the people who answered it may have put it many different ways 1) hit by a car 2) gets a heart attack 3) eaten by a shark at the beach = All 3 answers are "Die". The writers on the show group the answers together in broad categories and then that category sometimes under a very humorous heading. This is not only to make the audience laugh but also to make Steve Harvey read sometimes really awkward or embarrassing answers on TV. Every now and then Steve will even yell at the writers after reading the answer " I am going to get you guys for making me just say that" or something similar.
That last guy, if I were his wife I would leave every night and if he asked where I was going I would say “I have sex lessons tonight as you recommended “.
I'm glad Millie is feeling better. You should check out bloopers from The Newlywed game from the 1960's and for a good belly laugh watch FUNNIEST GAME SHOW ANSWERS OF ALL TIME.
i could see the woman who said my lovely husband mean i'd never cheat with someone who just so happens to look like my husband cause he's the only one but i doubt that's what she meant lol
This is called the Foot in mouth disease men are guilty of it more often than ladies. It also causes a lot of divorces as i have seen in The Dating Game and this show"
Sorry Millie you are feeling under the weather! Hope you feel better soon! Steve Harvey knows what it is like to really goof up! Remember when he was host one year to Miss Universe Contest and he read the WRONG country as the winner?? OOPS! Steve can relate big time to these embarrassing answers! LOL
Beez; Doghouse? What doghouse? Sorry my British brother but many married American men have literally lived in the doghouse! I finally started doing what my wife asked, and I’ve been out for several years now!!
A bitch is a female dog, so when they put a dog over his mouth when he says it, its that word. Like in the beginning with the eggplant sex. I see most reacters of this vid miss that.
I did give you two a suggestion of seeing Steve Harvey vs the board. (The one where he's pointing in the thumbnail) I'm curious to see and hear your takes on it.
I think you need to understand the vast majority of the players are trying to guess the most funny and accurate answers that most would give if they answered the question. If your main concern is not to embarrass your significant other you’ll never win
I can't believe some of these answers. I haven't watched that show since the 1980's (once I had children, I didn't have time for this nonsense) and now my kids are older than both of you (I'm betting; they're 35 and 32). Wow, has it changed.

I'm in the doghouse so often that I get my mail and Amazon deliveries there.
Hey Beesley's! Hope you're feeling better Millie! Yes, we have that saying- in the dog house.
3:54 I love the small and quiet snorting noise exactly knowing what the answer would be :D
Millie, good to see you again! A husband being sent to the dog house is an old phrase used in the U.S. ❤
It's used in the UK too she just dumb
In the US in the doghouse is a very popular term.
"In the Doghouse"... most definitely. Ican even remember my father using it and he was born in 1918!
So, it's been around a while.
They are simply playing a game.
May the best answer win!
The dog house is universal.

Yes in the dog house is a saying in America. It’s usually for when a man has made his significant other mad
In the dog house has been an expression in the U.S. since at least when I was a young boy in the 1970's.
I enjoy watching this show with my family. Nice way of bonding with them
I really enjoyed that..... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes, we say in the doghouse too 😅
I am glad you feel better. In the dog house is a very common saying. And that was funny. Thank you.
Dog house! Lol, oh yeah, I know what that means! 😁
Dog-house is universal.
Wouldn't Millie trade James for an American fridge? 🤣
Yes, a husband/boyfriend being "in the doghouse" is a very common expression where I'm from (West Coast of the U.S.).
Of course we use the expression in the dog house.
Glad you're up and around, Millie. Hope you're feeling better!!
I spent most of my 24 years of marriage in the dog house we know it quite well over here LOL
With that last one, cooking had to be the #1 answer.
I got to see this! Can’t wait to see her face on many of these.
Yes , we have "the dog house" in America
Yes. Here in America we use the term "in the dog house"

Ya,we know what in the dog house means. This is a case study of what not to tell Millie
Steve Harvey really makes that show great. My wife and I love it.
This show has been on the air for more that 30 years, all the hosts have been good on the show and have been entertaining themselves.
Oh yes...we do have the expression "Doghouse". LOL
Just love Family Feud, it never fails to deliver and do well. Nice to see it's sttill going and nice to have King Harvey too.
They typically film 5 game shows in a day; they are edited before they rub.
no man wants to be in the dog house but it seems we always end up there lol!
Dog house. When you make your wife mad and she kicks you out of the house . The phrase is "you will be sleeping in the dog house"
Even though you guys already reacted to this one about 10 months ago, I still love watching your reactions to it again. :)
you need to check out when he went to South Africa there are at least 3 of them
In the doghouse is definitely a saying in the US.
YES, same here. Usually it's something gross one has done or did not do that one SHOULD NOT have done.

I’ve seen those wedding pictures and Millie, you’re as lucky as your beau! I’m so happy for the 2 of you!
Yay! Millie is feeling better! ❤❤❤ So glad to see your better Millie.
All married men know what and where the dog house is!!
I think doghouse is an older term in the US. My Dad says it all the time, but I don’t recall anyone in my age group or younger using it.
Oh yeah we know what the dog house is!
LMAO 3:51 Millie evil eye
Darius and Carly are my all time favorite EVER!❤️🤣
They are trying to guess what the surveyors answered. It doesn’t mean the contestant thinks that of his or her partner.

I live in Canada and when I was married, spend a few nights in the doghouse. I know very well what it means. lol
I've been in the doghouse in both the US and New Zealand.
You better stay outta that Dog House Beesley! It means you are in trouble!

Oh my God I'm still laughing

I hope that "divorced" stamp is just a joke and these couples didn't actually break up over their answers.

Doghouse is what you get into when you suffer Foot In Mouth.
As the most gorgeous couple in jersey I loved watching your guy’s reaction to these cringe moments 😂🖤
Yes we know what the dog house means
"Gynacologist" is a great answer. Most people only go to the doctor when something is wrong, and messed up lady parts are not very sexy.
Yes, the doghouse is the same here in US.
Is the cathouse the same in UK as here?
