“ Till they raised the price of dreams so high I couldn’t pay.” That line right there is the most relatable thing I have ever heard. That’s one of the reasons that I listen to Tyler. His music is so calming and he’s different than any other singer. I’ve grew up going to my grandparents in Oklahoma all the time and running around on their land, and when I first heard Tyler, it’s like his music was exactly what I was feeling when I was growing up and how I feel now. I’m a young teen and somehow I can still relate to all of his songs no matter what he wrote them about. I love listening to his songs and relating to them in my own way. Most people my age look at me funny when I say I like Tyler Childers because he’s a different type of artist, and most of those people listen to more “pop country artists.” Which I’m not hating on anyone that likes those type of artists, but the way Tyler sings or maybe whatever he puts in his songs just gives me a certain feeling that I can’t explain. Tyler will always be #1 in my playlists.
I was just telling a friend of mine about this line. I could not be paying attention, and he says this line. my heart hurts every time, the price of dreams has become a hard burden to bare
Mahalo Baby, this is such a beautiful and a lot of truth in Tyler Childers' words. I'll be there soon. Don't waste our time being angry. Enjoy our time being happy with each other.. I Love You Baby @ Timothy W. Smith❤❤ RIP Aubreigh Wyatt🙏🙏✨️✨️ Aloha from, Hawai'i 💕💕🤙🤙
Damn it, I can't shake this song off of my bones!!!.. Tyler you're amazing. Thank Father for let me make the transition from Rock to Country music artist like this great one!!
Not really a huge country music fan, but I can say I love Tyler's vibe so much. I really like Billy Strings and Chris Stapleton too, maybe I have a type ❤️
I think this song is much better than the Applebee's song; but each one is from a different era of country. The Applebee's song was good, and is still, but ZB and TC are just so much more raw and poetic. Songwriting is supposed to be poetic, not like a lot of pop country. Pop country is all right for some people, but this, to some, is much more authentic.

😍
He needs to make a song with Joe purdy. Same vibe, same tone, they’d rock it.
Is that Troy and Gabriela on the cover from High School Musical? lol 😂
LLAW
what happened to the better version of this song? why is there only this trash track available now?
This f’n kid probably wrote this when he was what? 17? 20?
I’m Batman
What's crazy is I like the kids version who preformed this in his talent show and went viral better.
I came here from the zack Bryan drama… first time hearing this song, I can see why they chose Applebees
@@JacquelineNeu-p2ezach bryan saying it shouldn't have took 10 years for Tyler to get on the radio
If you choose the Applebees song over this you are truly daft in the head
Zach Bryan drama??? Tyler is legendary
