My grandpa, cousin, and my Auntie all like their fingers, they can and know how to use a pic, but rather use fingers. For Ale, with or w/o a pic she is amazing.
The remarkable talent displayed by these young women is matched only by their infectious energy, captivating melodies, and heartfelt lyrics. It's evident that The Warning is on the brink of becoming a household name, if they haven't already. Here's to their enduring legacy!
Ale says a pick gives a lower sound to the bass with a pick, I feel something totally different, it's higher frequency, with a pick. Yes, I said feel, I am deaf and play bass myself... I don't hear it, I feel the vibrations of it from the neck. I feel that without a pick gives it a deeper sound. Either way, I agree she could fret with hand, pluck with toes. I love watching her... Bass on Ale, love ya!
Loved the down and up picking (an ode to The late great Phil lynott) by Ale she seems somewhat comfortable with the pick...... but it does give the bass a much richer sound thank you Elvin for sharing this
Most of my bass playing has been with the pick and if you play with one, you do the up/down picking in my experience. I never even thought about it. :-) One reason I started with a pick is because my Bass idol was Chris Squire of Yes.
Loved it Elvin!♥️..Now that I'm at home "resting" 😉..I'll be able to catch up on missed videos..nothing like listening to The Warning to keep my spirits up!
All the girls are great. I think Ale gets so much attention is that we first saw her as a little girl actually playing the bass, then she started the stiff leg move and now she's a big time rocker, all over the stage.
As a person that play bass with fingers and also with a pick ( more finger than pick) I can understand why she feel uncomfortable because the techie change completely, when I play let’s say at my Latino church (because the style of music) I’m all about my fingers and this is where I most play the majority of the time, also when I play rock or hard rock and R&B but when I go to the my root which is Metal, Speed Metal and hardcore Metal I play with a Pick and get use to it is like OMG I can’t feel where the strings are and get lost and it take me a few minutes to get use to it.
I asked her once why she she did not use a pic, she said she likes the sound of the pic especially on certain songs, but that she preferred playing with her fingers. I seen her doing the slap technique on Pablito’s 6 string, so I’m sure she’s talented enough to do whatever she wants. Here she used a pic because her fingers were sore from playin 3 gigs in a row prior to this cave performance. I think I like the low end sound the pic makes, but that’s just my personal preference.
ELVIN W WOW! She can do the slap as well? I didn’t know that. There are only 2 bass players I know that are in my opinion that are the best at slap...mononeon and Flea of Red Hot Chili Peppers. Check out Mononeon when you get a minute. He’s a real character for sure
Its harder to play the bass the way she does i was wondering did she prefer playing two finger method to pick method especially if she ever moves to a five or six string bass guitar in time
She does not like using a pic, she only used it here because her fingers were sore from playing 3 gigs in a row prior to this. I’ll ask her about the 5 or 6 string option.
I'm digging the sound I like the backing track but I also love the sound of a raw 3 piece with no extra sound . Back in the day bands like Grand Funk, Triumph even Rush dealted with 3 players so I'm not cutting it but like the atlas Rise video was an ultimate recording for me but it's all good. Rock !😎🤘👍🇨🇱🎶🎧
I’m not enteirly convinced about Ale using a pick as a playing technique. Maybe the sound is deeper but i rather prefer the finger style. Perhaps she could check Billy Sheehan’s work
Sounds like St. Asking the question about using the pic "as Manni would say has more of a bottom feel" lol he should know he's been to more shows than all of us put together. I'm kidding 16 lizards 😎🤪🤘🎶🇨🇱
@@TheWarningBand I'm sorry, probably I didn't convey my idea correctly. What I'm saying is she's wearing the same hairdo as Pau *did a couple years ago*, long, flowing, and with those colors. Please excuse my ignorance, which one of them is Ana Villaseñor? I don't have a clue if they (in that picture) are part of The Warning family, or are Patreon sponsors (this is what I was thinking of, but now I'm confused). By the way, Muchas gracias, Elvin, for sharing your videos. Saludines desde Dallas, TX! Are there any presentations planned around here?

Roger Glover from Deep Purple. I'm sure theres alot more but yours truly uses one for a bass lol .Rock !.🤪🎶🇨🇱🤘👍🤘😎 btw I always use 🎧🎧🎧
She's open to any option whenever needed and skills speak for itself.
Pick or no pick, Ale's always our pick for favorite bassist! So much talent.

I cannot begin to say how much I enjoy watching these ladies and the quality of music they put out!

¡¡¡ ALEJANDRA la más bella de tres lindas Estrellas !!!.
Ale could probably play the bass with her toes if need be, but she seems a bit less comfortable with the pick.

Ale Rocks! Much Love!
That pick make the bass sound much deep.
i love to watch you Ale so much... and i will pay attn how you spread fingers and all when i work on my bass... bc you do everything very awesome

I think I heard Ale say one of the new songs off their newest LP, she uses a pic. It’ll be interesting to hear it.
She improves every day! What did Ale say at 4:24?
Ale, una Valkiria del Valhalla
This was great. Thanks for uploading
Thank you, sir. Great video.
I 💘 that bass 🎸. Wow that is beautiful 🌟 . 💘 you warning 👧! Keep 🎸
And then came Animosity
Me gustó muchísimo el vídeo!!
Gracias por ver. Paul Sailor hizo la grabación
Amigo colombiano! Quién es tu consentida de estas tres bellezas talentosas?
Ale could use a fish as a pick and still own it! Very talented teenager!!
LOL what are you talking about, she could use her teeth still own it. Jimi Hendrix played National Anthem once with his teeth.
@@jamieandjasminecretz8755 really ?
There use to be video about that
That is so funny a fish 🐠
She did really good. That’s not easy when the brain is trained to play one way and then to step away from what’s comfortable.

She can do it,she needs to get use to it she'll be fine
Vocally it seems Ale is close to Dany in natural pitch
Her voice is still changing, here she is 15, now she’s 17 and her voice sounds different
Interesting to see this once, but I do not want to never ever see it again! HEHE! 😉

Alejandro Jiménez Ortiz she likes playing without a pic if that’s what you mean?
