Haven't been to Oslo since the mid 80s - always was a nice, human-size city, but it looks much cleaner and brighter than it did then.

I can't imagine living on the street in Norway during the winter. I have sympathy for people trapped by drug addiction.
Most people who are homeless are not drug addicts. 47% of them in the US have at least one job. I had to take in a boarder this summer or I would have ended up homeless with 2 of my sons, and I’m an adjunct college professor. Incomes are not keeping up with rent hikes.
In 2013, I was homeless for a few years because I got assaulted on my own front porch and ended up in bed for 3 months: concussion and fractured cheekbone. Lost my house (foreclosure).
I’ve never done drugs in my life.
