Very often, our failure to understand that there are different lifestyles that are consistent with our different gifts and callings is a problem.
Insisting that every person must adopt what the Spirit convinced you is necessary for your own spiritual wellbeing is like a short putter insisting on all athletes having the same diet and exercise regimen. It is disaster in the making.

Oh my God Nike!! This is one of my best episodes of "Ask Pastot Nike." I wish the law makers at my mom's church will be privileged to hear this episode. At the beginning of this year, on a hot Tuesday afternoon, my sister and I were reprimanded by the church officials because we were at the church premises by the fence, putting up banners and some flyers in preparation for my mom's funeral celebration. We were warned never to come into the church premises again wearing jeans. The pastor said as women, we were supposed to dress like women befor stepping into the premises. We were by the gate/fence. This was not even during regular church services. We apologized and left peacefully, but had a lot of questions about what happened. I am glad that your episode today clarified everything that I think a lot of churches try to impose on women using the Bible as their point of reference. Thank you so much for shedding some light on this subject matter. God bless you my sister for all you do.
