I love Natasha in "MY Heart If You Will Swear", I think on the studio album she gives one of the best performances of that song in any language, but she sounds way too mature here, and Tina sounds a bit rough too. I prefer the Vegas cast for this song in English.
Natasha may be wrong for this one, but she's so perfect for Your Heart if You Will Swear. It's just not meant to be so ...fluffy, like the original's voice provides. Plus she seems to do the same movements constantly, and it's annoying. Thanks for putting up the video!
Natasha St Pierre could maybe reprise her role, seeing as she's French Canadian like most of the French cast, hence why Garou and the other guy were both in the original cast of the London production, they speak both English and French

Comme le Wiki de Natasha dit qu'elle a 29 ans actuellement et qu'elle a remplacé Julie en 1999, c'est c'est logique à croire qu'elle a commencé de jouer le rôle de Fleur-de-Lys quand elle avait 18 ans (à moins que le Wiki est incorrecte, comme il est trop souvent :P).

I think Esmeraldas voice is too rough, a little... I mean she's in love and dreaming of Phœbus... but well, the song with the birds in the cages is good for her, I think

The translation is so off because they need to change words to make sure the lyrics still rhyme and everything. That said, yeah, it just doesn't really work.
I don't think that the translation is THAT bad...worse than the origianl of course...it's just that I'm not used to this song being sung soo loudly...In my opinion neither Natasha nor Tina do this song justice...Tina is sooo much better in Vivre ("Live for the one I love"), just not in this song

They did not ruin the musical. You want to see a ruined musical? Look up the trainwreck from Broadway called Dance of the Vampires compared to the German version. THAT is a ruined musical adaptation.
