@@brownplans4748 well I been renting this spot for 3 years, it started at $1600. So yeah you’re right you ain’t finding that price. Still prices here better than NY for some small ass apartments
All rent control laws do is restrict supply and increase costs for other tenants. There are an estimated 60k apartments in NYC being held off the market because of rent control. And with the proposed expansion of rent control across the state and the new "Good Cause" eviction law being pushed, along with the active resistance to new market rate construction in the city, it's only going to get worse.
So agree..my niece had to leave the first job out of college she had there this year...no way...now she and we are so happy...you can not flourish as a beginner in this,,,even at a great level,,,only uber uber rich,,,this can not be.
I always thought that it was technically illegal (the best kind of illegal) for a NYC bedroom not to have a window. I was told it's part of the fire code.
You can't call it a bedroom without a window in nyc. That's disingenuous at best, and the landlord should know about that. The multiple dwelling law clearly states what a bedroom is.
I love these videos Cash the one thing that sets these apart from other NYC apartment videos is you show the surrounding neighbourhood where the apartment is. It really adds to the whole video! Hope you're keeping well and healthy. Big thumbs up 👍
Cash, opening today was kicking it- love your tunes- Charles had positivity all around him today- your energy was spot on- editing is primo. You are Climbing toward 600k ! Bravo! Keep going!☮️👏👏👏👏
I guarantee my son and grandson could clog that toilet. My son comes to my house everyday to take his daily dump 💩.because his wife won’t let him do it at their house anymore 🤣. I made him buy a sewer snake and if he clogs it or commits other sins in there, he knows where the scrub bucket is and he had better clean up after himself, or else ☠️. Usually Charles has really nice apartments. Guess this was an off day bcuz I've never seen anything so small & overpriced from him. At least the kitchen areas were updated & there was a wine fridge & washer/dryer in 1 but.... just no. I thought that old school building was gonna be great but goes to show you, looks can be deceiving. At least Cash caught that someone had left the oven on in 1. I got the feeling when Charles jumped so fast he thought Cash had done something tho. I
Well... if nothing else they were all clean and presented well. But there was very, VERY, little that was redeeming of any of them. Not the exposed brick, the fake fireplace, nor the wine fridge. It's unbelievable that Landlords are charging these prices for fourth and fifth floor walkups. Or they believe that someone will take it without a bedroom window. I couldn't imagine a bedroom sans a window. CRIMINAL!
Cash makes videos for Charles' listings that can benefit from advertising to rent out: the relatively large beautiful but PRICEY apartments and apparently their small, weird (and also pricey) counterparts.
Another good day spent with Cash and Charles. Even though they were pretty small they were all livable except the studio. I am still shocked at the high rent for such small apts. enjoy your day.😊

I looked up how much minimum wage was there and I'm surprised anyone can afford the prices of many of those apartments. 😳 I won't lie those, while those apartments are tiny...they're adorable.
Good grief! The RENTS!!! My mortgage is only $2500 and my house is a 2 year old, 6K sq ft modern farm house. I’ll take that any day over ridiculous rents for closets!

Makes me wonder why they have such dishwashers in the smallest of kitchens, wash once you've eaten/filled the sink and then you have some more cupboard space?
I used to live in Flushing for $1550 per month for a closet pretending to be a one bedroom. Now I live in a 900 square foot luxury apartment for $1800 per month by moving a few hours west of the city to Buffalo. Money goes much further here.
Awesome video, Cash! Charles, you are the man! Your listings are always interesting and certainly will serve New Yorkers well, sir. Bravo to both of you!
Any smaller and people will have to sleep standing up. Their office might be bigger than their apartment. The folks camping on the street in RVs might have more space. Great job with the tunes, added to everything that was going on. Title & picture will have "certain" folks blowing their daily gasket.😅😅😅 Great video, fun watch.
I own a rental management company in Idaho. Those bedrooms are deathtraps. You need at least 2 decent points of egress (ways to get out in case of fire) and these “bedrooms” don’t have that. @@lisabaltzer4190 I believe it's only illegal to advertise it as a "bedroom". Same rules apply, there needs to be a window for it to be declared as such.
This apartment is barely worth $400/month, let alone $4,000. In the South, USA, you can have a 4BR/2BA house with a huge yard for under $400 a month. You just have to be alright with driving 2 hours to the hospital. Only a 40 minute drive to the grocery store though.😂
OK, you guys...now I'm starting to think you two are just pulling my leg.... That studio w/ the laundry, elevator, & Amazon hub was nice for a single person or a couple. But $3500 is INSANE. That should be $1700 MAX, depending on the neighborhood. I would definitely live in that If that was the price
