I used to own one of these. 1FN 5013. Love to get one again, bad points were: really hard seat, wheels were a pig to keep clean and ventilated discs were prone to warping. But the plus points were amazing! What an engine, it would whistle up from 25 mph until you ran out of bottle.
Pretty sure i was one of the first 1985 FZ750 owners on Long Island. Terrorized the streets and off ramps on sunrise hyw. Took it to Merced Ca and totally wrecked the canyons headed too Mariposa and Coultersvile. Wish like hell i never sold her. Thanks for the video, brought back many memories.
Oh it's a real treat seeing that FZ, honestly. I have one, exact model and colour with an 88 plate that's in good order, not as clean as yours but with little effort, it could be made good again. They are a dam fine bike, seeing yours in that order has made my day. Good man, thanks for sharing...Tom, Ireland...
A lot of people go on about the 85 GSX-R 750, but for me it was always the FZ, plus they beat the suzukis more often than not down here in NZ and AUS. :-)
I still own this FZ, It's mint... One of the greatest bikes of the 80's !
My first bike when I during second year college in 86. Have great memories of this well balanced machine with an engine that had a heart of gold.
Thanks for posting!
One of the best motorcycles of the mid-80's!

Clean 80's sport bikes like this are just as good now as seeing their 60s and 70s predecessors.
What a fucking beauty man.

I'm in Canada. I know a guy with this bike; looked pretty good shape; said he'd sell it $1000.00.
I think I'm gonna buy it!
Ho appena acquistato una fz750 del 1984............che emozione!!!!!!!!
I gotta say, that exhaust note aided by the choke sounds absolutely evil

Very Well Maintained.

I remember this bike brand new on the show floor. Nothing better than the New Bike Smell.

are these the once with a turbo that kick in at 7000 rpm ?
No. I think you're thinking of the Kawasaki GPz750 turbo.
Tekachahedron My Maxxim 750X had the same engine and there was a surge of power that would hit at 7000 RPM...it was a fantastic engine.
