In this vlog we spend our first day in Tenerife at Hotel El Duque, Costa Adeje. We booked through Jet2 Holidays and went for the all inclusive deal.

Hi, we have booked this hotel for June 24. It looks quite nice but I’m baffled about what’s in the rooms. Do all the studio balcony ones do they have hairdryer in the bathroom? I do look what it says on the inventory, but it’s a bit of the way they put it and can you get an iron from the front desk I liked watching your videos. It’s very nice when you can see somewhere that you’re going to go to thank youx
Hi Pat, I’m honestly not sure at all about the hairdryer? I always take my own travel sized one anyway as my hair is so thick the hotel ones never usually have enough power to dry it 🤣!
The rooms were pretty basic but if you’re not all inclusive the kitchen would be handy. I personally would go all inclusive again as there were so many nice places to eat outside the hotel.
If you’re planning to watch entertainment at night, you have to get down early as there’s not many seats and they fill up fast ☺️

Great Video, thanks for posting, I have booked this hotel for June 2024, do you know how long it would take to walk to the torviscas area with the bars,Bar Fresh & Harleys american bar etc. & is there a quicker way than going the beach promenade way ?? sorry for the long question ,thanx
Thanks for watching! The hotel is fab 😄 we walked down to the left passed the other HyperDino supermarket and then onto the beach front as it was less of a hill than heading down towards Plaza Del Duque 😀 we only ever walked along the beach way so unfortunately can’t say if there’s a quicker way but we definitely found it less steep going out of the hotel and down to the left. Hope this helps!

quick question when it comes to breakfast and things like that because it’s a buffet how do you pay if you’re self catering and not all inclusive as i’m going start of july! xx
I think you can buy your meals in the restaurant they checked we had wristbands when we went in but this was last year so might be different now ☺️
If I were you though, I’d eat out with the hotel. Brekky was fine but the lunches/dinners were a bit hit or miss so we ate out a couple of nights x
