I have a couple ideas going through my head. - Ground up restoration, body work, interior and all. - Get it running and clean it up a bit - Big engine swap, burnout truck for 2025 Cleetus event
I was scoping out that truck during the cleetus event, if Derick didn’t have a line out the gate for meet and greet I’m sure he would have been reviving it for you!
F-100 definitely needs to be the new pace truck. The Dodge could be a track ambassador vehicle for any events yall do advertising at like car shows or something, hauling around a modified
light sand and clear the way it is. replace old short block with a ford 460ci ford racing create engine. new tires and breaks. you got your self a hell of a fun truck David!
I remember seeing that truck in the 80's. It looked nice back in the day. Dan Pardi used to drive it. I know I spelled his last name wrong. That's when my father was the Chief Stewart since the 60's. I was always at the track when I was a kid. I believe I even drove in that truck one Friday evening. You must restore it.
I vote for you to restore both trucks. Please make them back to what they were. No big engines, no burnouts. I am betting that in that F100 there is a 6 cylinder, mighty Stout engine rebuilt. That was American. Enjoy your channel, love to see a family taking such great care of a beautiful track. A lot of great drivers have driven on that track. 🏁🏁🏁
That F-100 has been at the track as least since I was 12 years old and use to roller-skate on the second floor track of your main building. you've GOT to save it!
Thanks for another entertaining video. Hopefully the bad luck bug will go away. If would be really cool to get the Ford truck running and I hope you can do so. Thanks!
Get with Cleetus & his boys... I am sure they could give you ideas or help turn the F-100 in to a tire shredder/track truck. Restore the body, That door is too damaged to leave the truck Patina. Coyote with a Whipple
I always look at it while waiting for wife at bathroom. Truck is so cool and I always thought it would be a sick pace truck or something. Shame to see it sit
First of all, 1972 is an awesome year……the year I was born. Swap the compete drivetrain from one of your Crown Vic’s into it! Leave the body as is, just clean it up but leave as original as possible.
I vote for turning the F-100 into a pace truck! Keep the patina, drop a crate in it, fix it up, slap some new Whelen lights on it. The Charger is due for retirement, and I’m sure Monaco isn’t fond of seeing a Dodge out there that much. Haha
@@zplexity13games48 LOT of history, that’s for sure. Back in the day (late 70’s was my childhood), that was Ronnie’s Clubhouse, where all the racers and fans would gather after the races, to drink, hash things over, and probably had the pay window right next to the beer line so quite a bit of the track’s money wouldn’t get too far. Haha. Also there are these REALLY cool paintings of the past Sizzler winners(or track champions? I can’t remember which). I’ve been hoping for decades for them to open it back up like it was

Fix the F10 use it for the track on Friday nights and parades
Revive and drive it.
Need get together with Vice Grip Garage!!
Lot of memories for me in the ford.. I'd like to see you restore it & figure a way to use it on the track, Gary Hietala.
Make the ford a landscaping feature at the track for people to see. Maybe with a pong or something
I think you should paint new numbers on the pit stalls so we don't have to count them out.
Hell ya drive it
Yes Sir ! - They dont build rigs like that no more !! Never needs to be highway driven - Track Truck it is
I always look at it while waiting for wife at bathroom. Truck is so cool and I always thought it would be a sick pace truck or something. Shame to see it sit
See the truck when restored and knows it’s a lot of money

This!
Bring it back to its former glory, but no to the "patina"... paint it and make it awesome!
David, redo the f100, what do you think!
What's inside the building? It would be cool to have a video of what's inside it.. everytime I'm there I always wonder what's inside

that what winter was made for ,,rebuilding old things,, and cheaper than a divorce ...yes do the both
Bring them back. Make the ford a Pace truck and the dodge a safety truck
If you're going to restore it, let Cleetus do it.
Strange that you showed you getting spun but not what you did that led up to that......
Powertrain swap the F100 w/ a Crown Vic.
Buy junkyard Hemi for Dodge truck.
Restore it and make it the official stafford speedway pace vehicle. Get rid of that dodge charger.
My 10 year old son and I are looking for a 5th gen as a project truck. I would be interested if you decided to do nothing and move on from it.
Full restoration, raffle off tickets to win it! Donate the $$ Either for the animal sanctuary or the next project!
Sounds like a good candidate for @vicegripgarage
Crown vic race?
