That pencil sharpener brings back memories of jr hi and a science teacher who was always having his disappear. One day we were on the playground picking up pine needles weaving wonky looking baskets. The sun caught that shiny new sharpener in the window. If those windows weren't just low enough for two girls to boost a third up to reach that thing we'd kept learning crafting. Our teacher would go to sharpen his pencil looking all around even outside that tall but not too tall window for his pencil sharpener. Alas it was long gone somewhere on the school playground under pine needles and a wonky looking basket. He was our favorite teacher.

Hi Adriane, it sounds like you have a wonderful time with your daughter in law. I don't think I could shop for 8 hrs 😫. My back would be killing me, too. You bought some nice tops. I really enjoyed watching. My mom's favorite color is yellow, too. It has been terribly hot here and humid. I think we finally get a break from it tomorrow.
the shopping was about three hours, an hour in the frame shop trying on new frames. and a long lunch. xxoo A
One more thing I'm 50 and we had those pencil sharpeners at all of my years of school in Massachusetts. We had to ask to walk up and sharpen our pencils. My school's also had bubblers. That's what the water fountain was called when I was growing up, long ago😅 I drank water from the bubbler(when permission was asked 1st, of course) 😉
