    You do good reviews, I was afraid that you would be focusing mainly on women's literature, but found that actually your reviews are more balanced, and deal with western and eastern literature written by both men and women.

      I try to read widely but have to confess that I try not to choose horror and Sci-Fi - I can't really get on with that genre

    I'll be putting this on the list.
    By the way. I'm about 120 pages into The Chibineko Kitchen. And it's poignant yet warming. The cat in the book does play it's part well. I do love me a calico kitty.

    Sounds like it’s trying to be a new take on ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ but not understanding what made that story work.

      I liked the idea but was disappointed that there seemed to be no positivity
