Raquel Welch was fabulous in this show. The chair twist in her opening is perfect. However...did anyone else notice that they say "And Raquel Welch" followed by "And Gerald McRaney"??? Poor grammar.
I think that this was a great opening to a show that was not given a proper chance to flourish. Would have loved to have seen what would have happened in the second season if it continued.
Actually, Barrowman and Errico were written out shortly after the revamp but remained in the open until the end. Michele stuck around but was more or less shoved completely into the background; Travis also remained but her part was diminished compared to pre-revamp.
Show started of amazing, then kind of lost the plot, the new opening was awful. Although Raquel Wlch was amazing she really idn't fit into the show, it was like they were trying to cram two shows into one and it became a mess.
@lol365 I know. It should have said with Gerald McRaney and Raquel Welch as she is more famous and a bigger star. Also Lauren Hutton should have gotten special billing instead of being lumped in with the rest of the cast. I don't know why Gerald and Raquel gor it and she didn't
Extensively? I have all 21 episodes and from two different sources. I just want Michael Michele's season 2 scenes in English, as I have them in German and my English recordings are from the initial CBS airings, which had cut them out.
Gerald was basically playing Ted Turner, so being a Southerner helped. I liked the revamp, but credits are misleading. I don't believe Errico, Michele or Travis appeared again...must've been contractual. I have the final episodes somewhere...have to rewatch them.
This must've been right before they cut the cast. I remember Melissa errico's character went psycho, killed herself and framed John Barrowman and he fled the country. And then Tom Verica went psycho and tried to kill Madchen Amick but died instead. Once you got past that, the show began to gel. Too bad it got cancelled on a cliffhanger.
Are your CPW season 2 episodes from CBS recordings? You see, the resolution a character's arc, to Nikki Sheridan's storyline was edited out of the initial US airing on CBS to fit in scenes from some of the unaired season 1 shows. I know Europe got to see these scenes. Nikki Sheridan is played by Michael Michele and if you could just look around for the actress within the first two season 2 episodes then I am all ready to purchase the entire set. Take care, Sonny
@lol365 I always hated that chair twist. What is the chair twist good for by the way? In our office our chief always made the same chair twist demonstrating the arrogance and nonsense the chair twist pf raquel represented. She was injured while she was doing her second chair twist
@adrimoniy the music lead to the ticking time bomb ....1996 - 2001 , 2001 the end of the world trade center ....I wish we could turn back the time to that period before 2001 and 11. Sept. never happened!
I've searched extensively and can only find the first 17 of 21 episodes. I doubt anyone has the last four (aside from the studio). I did have the last episode on tape but recently found out it got damaged. Either way though, you wouldn't have to purchase them. You'd be able to download them.
It was such a great, great, great show! Thanks for posting videos! Do you have more of them? If you do, please post them! Especailly if you have some with Carrie (Madchen Amick)! She was my favorite character in whole show!

@DynastieFr Hardly. The season one opening tried too hard to be hip. This opening is much more classy.

@liddlebopeep Disagree, unlike the first season, this seems like a generic soap intro.

Take care,

I think Errico appeared for a couple episodes of the revamped show. Remember, her goodie two shoes character turned crazy and was stabbed.
Thank you so much, you brightened up my day! :D
Michael Michele pure class
It is bad form... Although they did the same with Linda Gray and Larry Hagman in the Dallas reboot.
Salut pourquoi pas Faite moi une offre
