@Hue Wong Well yes they are the fighting application versions of the same movement. Aikido is more concerned with the aesthetic version just for learning the basics of it. These takedowns are also in Karate too which you do see in their competition fights.
This is really helping me to get stronger and more confident... all I have to do is just keep practicing over and over everything that Liam shows us :)
