There are 3 categories of plastic playing cards: 1-Acetate such as Kem and modiano. 2-PVC such as copag. 3- And the last one we don't actually know what kind of plastic they are made of it's just plastic such as prestige.
Man playing cards are so interesting and fun to play with. Recently got into playing with them and collecting very fun. I got both of these very good cards last a long time
I want to learn how to play cards and the two decks I have are old spice from a gift set and cards for mariasch made by some Czech company. Old Spice forgot to make them plastic so guys can play them in a bubbly bath! 😂
Your backs are different than mine. The box is the same though. I bought mine about 6 years ago. Bikes seen to be constantly changing. Had bought another set 15 years ago and the ink wore off after playing a few games. Theyve improved the ink on the set from 6 years ago. Makes me want to buy another set now to see whats changed
@@DiggoDecks tried replying with a link, guess yt doesnt allow links lol. The backs i have still have the bikes but they are smaller and have a white strip down the back.
So I liked these cards, but all the printing came off after about 8 months. I only play poker twice a month, so I'm pretty disappointed. However, I will be keeping the boxes and put my other cards in them.
@@Sthriven If you ordered them directly from Bicycle you might be getting the new back design. They're just called Bicycle Prestige Edition. I'll post the video up later tonight!
Yeah they should be, they're PVC. You could wipe them with a wet towel or wash them with water but I wouldn't play with them in the pool. I think the best approach at getting these cards wet would be with a damp towel. I've heard some people say the paint comes off of some cards if you wash them too hard or if you play with them a ton.

Thanks for the tip! I'm gonna mention this in my final video!
Great looking tuck cases.
They remind me of the Bicycle Metalluxe tucks, with the charcoal matte design.
I wish more cards were green.
My new deck is going to be green!

Couldn't agree more! PVC chips after a while, so be on the look out!
It seems plastic cards fan better when it's humid outside. Not sure, just a quick observation I'll consider.

Nice I didn't know they were using a different back. Not the cherub on a bike but the woman?

Are these card have air thin cushions?
Nope, they're plastic!
What do you think are the best deck of cards for magic and party tricks
Bicycle Cards! People trust those when magicians are doing tricks because they don't look fishy or marked. Red or Blue, don't use other colors.
Where do you buy them?
Last year at some point.

Yeah, been hearing stories of that or chipping.
Wish they had a cooler back design. Just something to make it stand out. Would make great gifts
Well well....THEY ACTUALLY DO NOW! I am going to be doing a video on the new versions later today! Be on the look out! 👀!
@@DiggoDecks you're kidding!!! I just ordered them last night as a part of a gift set 🥲
@@DiggoDecks any chance you can tell me what they're called or what to search? I can't find any other plastic cards on the bicycle website

Case is a mix of paper, cardboard and plastic-type sticker.
