One of his hobbies is fishing. I don't know if you've watched In The Soop but in season 1, Jin spent his time relaxing by fishing. Unfortunately, he didn't catch any. Also, when he was on the survival show, Law of the Jungle, back in 2016/2017, he went fishing for food they had to eat and instead of a fishing rod, he used an ARMY Bomb to catch fish instead. The rest of his castmates were impressed by him. In 2019, too, when BTS were on their first official break, all the members uploaded vlogs about their vacations. For Jin, him and Suga went fishing. In Bon Voyage, in Malta, he also went fishing with Suga. For him, this hobby wasn't only about catching fish but taking in the time that passes and the patience and calmness that comes with it. I think the part of catching fish is the reward.
