- I was impressed by the books and TV series of "My Brilliant Friend", but it turned out that there are very few videos on UA-cam on this fandom :(
So I decided to make my own.

Nino Sarratore, the kind of charming man who we all know and grow up to hate
I totally agree he is one of those guys that is beautiful charminhg, intelligent and also the biggest jerk

When I first started the series, nino was indispensable for me. But as the series progressed, I realized that nino was fooling me like lenu. I was very upset. Especially when watching lenu, lila and nino on the beach. I still haven't watched the last episode, I know what happened in that episode. I just didn't find that courage in myself and I'm so angry with lenu for this
yeah i felt that way too, but i think her actions at the end of s3 are understandable, just as it is disagreeable.
@@chaaaargh I don't know. I just feel so sorry for Dede. Her silence reminds me of lenu. But I don't want her to be as silent as lenu about things that happened to her. And her mother left him. As for Pietro, although he makes Lenu feel lonely and puts all the burden on her, I don't think he deserves such treatment. But even though I hate to admit it, lenu and nino seem to be very strong together, as if they were created for each other.
@@langdons5226 i agree with all of this for sure. my first reaction to lenu leaving was to feel sorry for dede, especially since she basically already knew what was happening. i just think lenu's decision to leave was valid given the context of everything, but to leave for nino with no regard for how that would effect her daughters was a bad decision. and i don't like pietro but i felt for him a bit, he was rightfully hurt. lenu and nino have a lot of chemistry so it's as if on the surface they'd make a good couple. but nino is, for lack of a better word, an asshole. so i hope it's not a spoiler to say i don't think they'll last long 😅

I'll start off by saying this edit is absolutely glorious 🎉🎉
I just want to say that I think we all have Ninos, Lilas and Lenus in our lives, hell we've probably played these parts in other people's lives. But what makes this show so special to me is that instead of focusing on how the women 'betrayed each other for the man trope' they choose to expose Nino's rotten carcass for what it is. For once the conversation is about the guy being an ass not the women being in the wrong and I'll forever be grateful to the show execs and Elena Ferrante for this.
completely agree, very well put! love that the narrative both in the show and books, don't shame either women for their choices regarding nino, it's the man himself who is shamed.

I read all the books, I loved Nino in the first two books and absolutely hated him on the last two. The bathroom scene was my favorite between those two, finally the culmination of so many years of longing and yearning for him. Finally they said they loved each other.

Very very good acting! What i’ve learned, and i’ sure i’m not the only one, it’s that “ the love of childhood/teenager” always come back…they will eventualy see you😊 but you’ ll not be the same!

he loved Lila for her genius but even want Lenu for her tendress and submitted . He gave his name to Lenu s daughter this is important he never recognize a illegitimate son ( Lila, Silvia) he brought Lenu to his parents...and Lidia trait her like a real wife... He found the apartment and pay for this and give her a car... They made a lot of voyages. They had even good moments good years but at the end Elena choose herself and left him... But I think This story was necessary to understand who was really Nino and start to dislike him living with him.

I don’t like cheating but in season 3 I don’t despise Lenu. Because her husband didn’t appreciate her and never gives importance for her needs.
I feel like Lenu is seeking validation from everyone and she’s living in a shadow of Lila. She loves Lila so much and I think that love has destroyed her. Because Lila is kind of selfish. Doesn’t think about Lenu’s feeling as a friend. And everyone loves Lila and that affected Lenu.
She really loves Nino but Nino still likes Lila better than her. It’s sad. At the end Lenu couldn’t come out of her own shell.
She’s more than what other people think she is but she doesn’t see it because she’s in a battle between her friend and between the Man she think she loves..
Well she didn't only cheat, she left her kids. She's the dream of feminists. Choosing yourself over your duty, morality and responsibilities because you come first.
Also, why do you say her husband didn't appreciate her. She was cheating from the start.
