The triggerfish around Koh Tao is super aggressive, got attacked from nowhere there. One second im just swimming along the bottom and the next i just see the big teeth charging towards my head😂

Remind me to good old Feeding Frenzy game
Decades ago,I saw a documentary where there was a huge fiberglass above ground tank.There must have been 200 of these critters in it.The caretaker had a quarter side of beef on a small hoist.Lowered it into the tank and the triggers lit into it like fabled piranhas. Nada left minutes later but bone n tendon.

I've been certified for almost 20 years. I go scuba diving and spearfishing every summer. We usually go for triggerfish, spadefish, and tautog... I have NEVER in my life had a triggerfish aggressively come after me EVER..... to be fair, they are gray triggerfish, so perhaps they have a different temperament. But it's hard to believe in 20 years of scuba diving and 30 years of spearfishing that I've never been attacked. Have been bitten though. Fucking HURTS
How could you been bitten without getting attacked? Don’t get the logic haha
I get attacked by them all the time... they come out of nowhere... especially during the nesting season
@@NativeExplorer really? "How you get bit but not attacked?" Laying in the bottom of the boat, bastard got my leg when I wasn't paying attention. Seems pretty logical to me. Again, we have Gray Triggerfish. They school up but are never aggressive. I've seen queen triggers out in deeper waters, but I'm not trying to spear them so I usually just leave them be. Maybe if I was more aggressive towards them, they would be aggressive back. But the gray triggers are pretty docile. Doesn't mean once theyre on the end of your spear or in your catch bag they don't try and bite you.

Yeah if that triggerfish do too much, he will be salted with onions and peppers and served over a bed of white rice 😂📌
They get triggered easily 😅
I couldn't let a fish like that punk me down. If it was a shark okay you win. But that fish I'd have to go back and get a spear.
