R68 (D) Train Ride from Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue to Norwood-205th Street via Brighton Express, 6th Avenue Local, Central Park West Express and Concourse Local
Taken April 20th
Service Change: Because of a signal malfunction and a switch malfunction @ 36th Street, the following service changes were in effect:
1. There were no (D) and (N) Train Service between Atlantic Avenue and Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue. (D) and (N) Trains were rerouted via the (Q) Line between DeKalb Avenue and Coney Island, running Express in both directions between Prospect Park and Brighton Beach
2. There were no (R) Train Service between Atlantic Avenue and Bay Ridge-95th Street. (R) Trains terminated @ Whitehall Street or Jay Street-Metrotech
Planned Work: Because of Track Maintenance, Uptown (D) Trains ran local from West 4th Street to 34th Street-Herald Square

Enjoyed it very much, thanks. The D I remember from the 70's when I rode the trains. I think it went to Brighton Beach and the B went to Coney Island. Now it seems the B and D have switched final destinations. Also, back in the 70 there was a shuttle train called the Culver Shuttle which ran from New Utrect Ave on the B line. Not sure if it's still running though. Have a nice day and thanks again.

Specifically the (D) ran to Coney Island via Brighton local. The orange (Q) ran express and terminated at Brighton Beach.
