To add to this, she usually only dies this when it’s really dark or she’s obscured by fig or dust, since it’s still visibly just iron sand. The way it’s portrayed here doesn’t really make sense with how the power works or how it’s portrayed either in the panel they showed, or the other cases where it’s used, so confusion is definitely understandable.

Misaka never fought her own clones, and her clones are all inferior to the original in power, she fought other Level 5's and some Magicians that are of similar power.
The verse she comes from actually has two different power systems one for Science which are Esper Powers and one for magic which is Idol theory which are both different but equally conplex.
There also is a ton of series and spin offs that all share the same universe.

@@Ris_Grestar She's tramatized because, She feels responsible for their deaths.
She was the one who gave the scientist her dna. So she was responsible for the project that created and would eventually kill all the clones.
In addition while she didn't kill them herself she did see several of her clones die in front of her, Kind of Traumatizingthing to put a 14 year old girl though.
I think even some adults would be uncomfortable with the idea of seeing they're identical copy killed in front of them.

She can't do sh.t against Accelerator, the fight against Mugino isn't even a fight cause she was running away, and Gunha could've whoop her ass if he was actually attacking in Toaru Jihanki Novel.
What? She never faced strong Magicians apart from Brunhild and Anna, Brunhild wasn't even trying to kill her and was holding back and Anna just straight up bullied Misaka so counting them is stupid, seriously why Misaka fans overhype her I'll never understand.

If you're curious, the gekota badge (which is the 'coin' that started the fight), is a memento from one of the Sister's she met. And saw slaughtered in front of her. It's essentially the only thing she has to remember the dead Sisters, so it's more reasonable for her to get pissed by Killua's taunting with it....not enough to flat out railgun him immediately, but it makes at least SOME more sense. Especially since she's only a couple years older than Killua, I believe.

If the animation in the analysis looks different from what you saw when you watched HxH, it might be a version difference.
There are two anime adaptations of HxH, the one they used for most of the footage here is the 2011 adaptation, which is typically labeled “Hunter x Hunter (2011)”. They tell the same story generally, but the 2011 adaptation had more to cover since the manga was further, so it went light on some of the details in the earlier parts of the show.
I’d recommend watching at least the first episode of the original, since that establishes a somewhat important character relationship that the remake skips, and does a better job of establishing Gon’s character, but other than that you won’t miss much if you just watch through the remake.

UA-cam only showed three comments at the time of writing this so here we go. Apologies if there's more.
At the end she created a clone out of iron sand to misdirect and trap Killua once the ruse was up. Don't recall them mentioning that ability in the analysis but maybe I missed it.
I thought this was a pretty good episode. HunterxHunter has been on my radar and the "A Certain..." series being a more niche pick made this an interesting match-up to me. The sprites look amazing though their poses and movements could be a bit jank at points. Somewhat made up for with the sheer spectacle it gets towards the end. I also really dig Killua's va here, I don't know what he sounds like but the line reads were well done and sold me on every bit of dialogue as well as the scream of pain at the end. The explanation was well handled and left no stone unturned I feel. The fakeout kill could've been a bit better imo if the music built up to and cut out right as he took the heart. As is it was a mere millisecond of disbelief for me that went back to normal as soon as I realized the music was still going.

I don't know how skilled or strong Comics Rocket is specifically, other than he's a sentient raccoon who can fly ships and built weapons of mass destruction, but I don't think he's physically that powerful or tough.
Meanwhile Stitch not only has intelligence and skills on par with Rocket, he is arguably one of the strongest beings in his universe and one of Disney's heavy hitters in terms of might and feats. Stitch is outright stated to be indestructible on multiple occasions, though there are weapons that can harm or potentially kill him, but usually he tanks shots from these weapons and shrugs them off later. Also while Rocket is a mechanical genius and tinkerer, Stitch's brain can process information as fast as a supercomputer and can basically do complex equations and formulas on the fly as he fighting people.

I knew neither of these characters but, yeah, when I watched the analyses it became obvious who was going to win. Going into the battle itself I thought that maybe I had missed some aspect of Killua that was going to give him some trump card that would allow him to win, but apparently not.
Interested to see how the battle between the two diminutive alien genetic experiments with enhanced abilities and intellects that are extremely inventive. After a cursory glance, Stitch seems to have the initial advantage physically and with his range of natural abilities, while Rocket will have a more varied arsenal, may have more experience dealing with more varied enemies and is noted for his tactical genius - plus who knows what else in his long career in Marvel Comics, which is where Death Battle is going to primarily take his feats from. It'll probably come down to whether Rocket can hold out long enough to figure out Stitch's weaknesses and exploit them.

To clear up the confusion of Misaka being in multiple series, it’s because of spin-offs taking place in the same world, but following different main characters and showing their perspectives/stories. A Certain Magical Index is the main series and follows the protagonist Kamijou Touma and his fate being tied to the titular character, an English nun named Index and she’s part of the Magic side, hence why Magical is part of the title. The Scientific spin-offs focus on the Level 5 Espers of the Science side and Misaka is the protagonist of the Railgun spin-off series (there’s also Accelerator, Dark Matter, ITEM/Mugino (Meltdowner’s user, who fought Misaka with her beams that Misaka dodged), Mental Out, and etc.) There’s also others, like that time Accelerator became an idol (it makes more sense when you know more about the character’s journey) or a crossover with Sega’s Virtual On game series, called A Certain Magical Virtual-On. 17:25 - Accelerator fought/killed around 10k Misaka clones (there’s around 20k, not 10k as DB mentioned), which are a fraction of her power and usually used guns, but could still use some of her ability (though she never fought/killed any and was filled with guilt when Accelerator killed one in front of her and the frog pin is the last memory of her.) Misaka Worst (one of the last clones) was the strongest clone and could manipulate air with her electricity power, but was still weaker than the real thing and used nails for her railgun attack (Misaka usually uses coins so it won’t hit anything besides the target/hurt others, but she has used bigger pieces of metal to increase the range, speed, and damage of her Railgun.) Misaka’s sprites are based on her sprites from Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax, a crossover fighting game featuring Dengeki Bunko’s IPs/LNs, like Sword Art Online, Toradora, Durarara, and etc. As for next time, there’s a Stitch anime, which most never heard of (and the sequel movies.)

    • @Ris_Grestar
      @Ris_Grestar  Рік тому

They did say that, but I guess I think of those things differently. Like even if she is an esper, there's a difference to me between having such a fine control of electricity and being, for instance, a telepath. Like they may be related in some ways, but there are definitely distinctions. And I don't really understand how an auditory illusion would mess with someone's sense of electricity.

So the big theme with the next one is that they're both hyper intelligent galactic science experiments with an apatite for mayhem. I admittedly don't know much about Rocket beyond his crazy origin, but I know a lot about Stitch and it's a bit tricky in my opinion to pin his abilities down. Basically his abilities are very broad in description. By his own creators words he can think faster than a super computer and lift things 3000 times his weight with the addition of being completely indestructible. And he's backed up that claim by surviving a black hole and many, many plasma blasts. And never with a serious injury. Frankly the only way I see Rocket winning is if he has some kind of weapon that attacks on the molecular level.

    A certified Pogfrog reaction.
    **So prediction for the Next:**
Yeah honestly the next time is a wild MU with how contensus the battle is, mainly just due to how bonkers their scaling can get. Essentially, one is a unholy statbrick with monsterous physical strength and durability and several innate resistances and decent (albiet very limited) abilities that can counter a lot of his opponents options (Stitch). While the other is an incredibly versatile nutcase with a lot of powerful guns capable of somewhat exploiting and even killing the other, however any direct hit from his opponent will just outright kill him (Stitch).
Both have similar speed scaling to work off of, Rocket is generally more intelligent (though Stitch is still up their), while Stitch has far better analytical and processing abilities (due to his brain being able to process information that highly advanced alien super computers). And both have really good extremely potent win-cons and hard counters (i.e any of Rockets Herald weapons, or weapons that Targets Stitches weaknesses. And Stitch having EMP Spit, the ability to simply throw back anything fired at him, various transformations to amplify his power [Overcharge State, or his Kaiju form... yes he has a Kaiju form], and well... him being able to physically rip Rocket into itty bitty chunks of flesh].
Regardless though this is all dependent on what they give both for speed, and what they will be including for Stitch feats wise in the animated show... or anime and manga... yes they exist... especially the goofy Samurai Manga (and yes they are using both animes, and I think that one manga)... God Lilo and Stitch is weird as hell (still my favorite Disney Movie tho)...

Who is the youngest combatant we've had? Because I'm kind of tempted to say Fulgore since I think he's...less than a year old? He has human memories but he's not human himself.

I knew killua was dead. I don't know why they did this. It was a stomp. Killua vs denki from mha would make more sense.

Hate to say it, but Denki's nerf still exists so it'll be a stomp from Killua.
Actually Denki would be the worst of the trio electromasters.

My guy...most of the match ups in this whole series are stomps. Why do any of them at this point?...oh yeah, because people like those characters and want to see them fight?

    • @chrismanning2888
      @chrismanning2888 Рік тому +1

Literally all of Killuas matchups are stomps where he gets obliterated. So it doesn't matter what they chose for him because he was never going to win

I hate this one. I hate it so much. I haven’t felt a deep loathing for a DB like this since Natsu vs Ace (albeit for extremely different reasons). I don’t like a DB that’s blatantly, laughably one sided to the point there’s no possible discussion to be had. That’s not an analysis, it’s a pointless m*rder p*rn.
I was also largely unimpressed by the fight animation itself for a multitude of reasons. Mikasa’s voice acting sounded extremely awkward and stilted in the beginning (which thankfully improved, and he has became fantastic in the final part, but it’s still started the battle off on a sour note), the animation overall felt a bit janky and inconsistent in its fluidity, and Kilua’s yo-yos looked ridiculously bad in how slow they moved, the angles they traveled, and feeling as though they had no weight to them at all. It was as though he were swinging around balls of feathers.
As far as what happened at the end when Kilua tore out her heart only for it to be a fake and then… *something* happens to him, I’m just as lost as you are. The only idea I have is that the Mikasa he attacked was a construct she made to look like herself and by coming into contact with it he got electrocuted, but it’s extremely unclear.

I mean you kinda have to read the light novel because Misaka has alot more better feats that DB didn't go over.
