Same. I think it'd be so awesome if like microsoft or someone created an mmo like this, with creativity, and marketing, but it didn't suck.

@@conios9141 An actual Mabinogi 2, not the one the canceled one was going to be, not Vindictus (which is what Mabi 2 eventually became), but a full on Mabinogi with the same open ended class system, fairly open world and opportunities, and charming drawn anime graphics.

Mabi is getting even worse with money milking, game economy manipulation and focus on fashion. . . Old, nostagic Mabi is dead.

Listen to the song re-surface my old feeling for the game. The very 1st time I play the game when it's only has G1-3. Such beautiful game, too bad the majority of gamer had been spoiled by WoW so they don't care for anything but grinding day and night.
+ninjadejedi I too, remember those days. Let me tell you some stories. I started in Generation 1, where everyone walked everywhere, and wiped over and over in Math and Rabbie. Carried a lute or mandolin, playing songs to random strangers we would meet walking by in Dugald Isle, on their way to Dunbarton from Tir Chonail... When being level 400 was astounding, and level 1,000's were gods among men. The fabled heroes to challenge Peaca dungeon, and win. The holders of the legendary magics; Ice spear, Thunderstrike, and Fireball. The champions of light, able to overcome any challenge. Yet with all that power, they would always help the weak, and new. They would work beside new players, helping them to gather potatoes or eggs for part-time jobs. They would laugh, and lead communities, they would be the guardians of heroes who braved the fight against Glas Ghaibhleann. They wouldn't ask for anything in return. Friend to all, inspiration to some. With that power, they would find joy in even the smallest parts of life. Whether helping people in real life as a cashier, or playing songs to random strangers walking by from Tir. Oh, indeed. How I miss those days.

Yes, Japanese game developers have a lot of great idea, Mabinogi really allow you to enjoy an RP in a fantasy world. Unfortunately, Wow had created generations of players that had absolute no interested in the world but lvling and bosses. I just logged in recently and it was horrible, Moongates everywhere for fast access, seriously even dungald isle has like 4-5 moongates, also they are no longer moongates cause they can be accessed anytime. It is the same with FF14, the world was great, the combat system was good, the dungeons were brilliant. But....... Unless we encourage these changes, i'm afraid we can only enjoy wow system.
Eh I'm probably an odd one out but I could care less about Grinding. I just like enjoying those features for event rewards but otherwise me and my friend basically chat and enjoy the music of the game and randomly go levelling when we feel like it.

Nowadays everyone is lazy to walk, even use their mount and reach some destination, in every single mmorpg... There are now Moon Gates everywhere and they are open all the time... Plus adventure journal where you can pay with some gold and teleport instantly to any destination... I miss those days where we had fun, not Fashionogi afk style players and not OP people that insta kill everything and don't talk at all...

Man, I still regret that I didn't get closer to see her. During the early days of college not too long before I really got into anime I heard her singing a familiar song from Chobits at my college during a anime convention at my school. I came back for a bit. I was a beta tester and quit at the Shakespeare stuff because it just got stupid. I was a total of ~2200 or so... but now everyone is so strong it just isn't worth it anymore.
Hardly anyone is on the game.

Technically Hanstone is the song writer for the majority of Mabinogi's songs and the composer of this song is Hanstone so it all works out and they did make it on their own.

i was admiring the graphics of the tara castle inside. where u usually do the sm's? admiring the bricks, the walls, everything inside. like im living inside the game. mabinogi is still wonderful
maplestory can be played by all ages. mabinogi has an age limit in korea (under 10-11 yrs old can't play) so i guess that has some impact in advertising, since korea is where mabinogi was made. but they do have tv ads for mabinogi a bit more than they used to now.

I think the latest storylines have pretty much answered this question. The Shakespeare stories are nearly entirely unrelated to Erinn itself, so I'm taking that to mean that G12 was the true ending. Considering by the end you have the support of every remaining deity, are becoming a god yourself, and have a power able to take down anyone (The Brionac, which was able to one-shot Cichol without physical contact before even being fully restored)... This song is a breath of cool wind, soothing, peaceful, reminding us that the world has a beautiful side among all the ugliness. I know it's just the theme to a game, but still I get that kind of vibe from this music. Weird right?
there is a duet on youtube, for the most part tanaka is softer and miku overpowers her, but if you can train yourself to listen to both at the same time its rather nice.

No conflict, no enemies, and perhaps even peace between the humans and Fomors. Stopping the main storyline there and going off onto an unrelated thing was a good idea on the part of the writers and developers, since otherwise it would have suffered from DBZ syndrome.

well Mabinogi is this mutiplayer online game that was made by the same company as MapleStory. you can fight monsters like in MS, but there are also life skills like playing instrument, fishing, and so on. you can also do part time jobs. i reccrommend you try it =D
Not sure about that but I know that Hanstone had originally composed the song Hold my Hand and this is basically just the same song with lyrics. I think Rie Tanaka sang the song that Hanstone composed. I'm not sure though but I know that Hanstone works with Nexon for the Mabinogi songs.
Tanaka Rie is a Japanese songstress; with this in mind, I believe she is performing the song in Japanese - Korean sounds pretty different from Japanese on the whole, with a lot more focus on vocal inflection than Japanese's comparatively simple and straightforward tendency with pronounciation.
