- Hello everyone. My original cover of this infamously unreleased MCR song seems to be the most popular version of the song and I don't like that cover so I wanted to make a brand new one. My original goal in making that cover was to create an authentic sounding studio version of the song, but my limited chops at the time hindered the results. Now, with my improved production skills and the power of artificial intelligence, I've created something a bit closer to what the actual song would sound like. I've worked on this for months, and it's certainly not perfect, but it's an improvement and is probably the best sounding version you'll find.

I respect what you're doing, unreleased tracks can sometimes be the biggest bangers and it's unfortunate that sometimes you wish you could hear the real thing, this is really fucking rad!
Maybe it's because I'm used to early live Gerard's screamier performing style but this sounds too clean singing wise. Is that because AI doesn't play nice with screaming or is it just how you think he would have sung it in the studio?
I especially thing "one way to execution" needs to be more distorted, like how Gerard does it in Matt's partial studio demo.
I hear what you mean it’s too clean cut some lines could have been accentuated more in the original mcr style
The screaming would probably make the ai voice break a little bit and it would make it sound less real i think. From ai stuff ive heard before
@@agkawaii9267 The problem with AI is that it's basically only able to produce a statistical average of whatever sample it's been fed. You can't train an AI to replicate someone's singing and screaming, because they're two different vocals. Maybe you could do it by training one model on clean singing and the other on screams and then selectively process different parts based on what you want, but it would never be quite right.
This is pretty fucking amazing. It sounds almost exactly like MCR in the studio. Could you release another version with your vocals to compare to?

@@Weezsawman9 it's not a filter. It takes the syllables, and uses the data from the ai and transforms the data into the syllables billy used

Dude, been following you since forever! Found you when you've been making studio versions of Gerard's unreleased songs. You're literally doing great service to the fandom, man. This is the closest we can get from studio version of Sister to Sleep (like there's literally no proper recording of until they sang it live last year). Now we can hope they make the actual studio version, but hey it happened to Dasher so it's not far off lol. Keep up the good work!!

Edit: got it, his voice then AI. I love it so much! I have a lot of misgivings about AI but since Gerard will probably never properly record this track without changing a ton it's nice to hear it clean like this

Billy can already practically do a Gerard impression. The AI just makes it sound that 1 percent more like him.
A studio version exists already from bullets/revenge-ish era, it just has never been released. Matt released clips of it a while ago.
