Thanks for your tutorials. I have always been interested in mosaics and when I started making collage quilts I of course wondered if I could take what I've learned and create a mosaic quilt. You did an amazing job explaining the process. Thanks again. I love your work and you've inspired me to give it a try! Happy quilting my friend.
Oh Angie!.. I love these!.. I love mosaics!.. I love quilting!.. and I actually have reptiles!.. I have tons and tons of scrap Batiks and repro fabrics!.. I have my supplies and I am ready to go!..You are Very inspirational!.. I'm thinking of the beautiful landscapes and scenes and yes more lizards and tarantulas..LOL.. I'm wanting to make purses with them!.. I'm in several groups where the ladies would just LOVE to own a lizard or tarantula mosaic quilted bag!.. Thank you so much for sharing!.. I subscribed and I went to your website and joined also!.. I will share photos on your website as I finish some of my bags!!.. Can't wait to check out your appliques also!.. Thanks again!.. Blessings and much love!
You can use any brand of fusible web. Heat and bond will work. I like to work with Steam a seam 2 or Appli-stick because you can reposition your pieces, but you really can use any product you like.
Ni lo uno ni lo otro. Las piecitas son colocadas sobre el lado de la pega de un pelón fusionable. Se pasa la plancha y así quedán pegadas las piecitas.
I'm afraid I don't understand this comment. What backing paper? What fabric waste? The whole point of this technique is precisely to use up little bits of fabric left over from other projects. And those bits are placed directly onto the sticky side of the fusible. So I really don't understand the purpose of covering the fusible. Maybe you can explain your comment? Thank you.
You are an artist, you know that? This is so beautiful.
Just beautiful, especially the three of them together. Thanks for sharing!
Great use of scraps. You have some great ideas

Oh, thank you so much! I hope you try the techniques... so much fun
I love your study of the mosaic lizard🦎 Perfect way to use up tiny pieces of fabric that’s too precious to throw away ♥️
Fab tutorial and a great use of scraps. The fished results make for a lovely arty trio

Precioso,se usa un papel con pegante ,como se llama,un abrazo desde mi Colombia
why didn't you use the backing paper to put down over the sticky. that way you dont waist fabric.

Con que se pegan los cuadritos ala tela gracias
Pelón adherible
Great job. Another thing you can do with small pieces is make a photo quilt. Same principles.
Yes! Thank you!
