Love B*Witched! Edele has always been my favorite one and she's very kind. I actually did a project on her back when I was in 9th grade the project was called "Most Admired Person" we had to choose a celebrity and I picked Edele Lynch. We had to write a letter to them about why we did our project on that person. Edele is the only pop singer to ever write back to my jr high in all the years they had been doing the project. My english teacher was beyond shocked when Edele's letter to me came in the mail (came the week after Thanksgiving break). She wrote back to me in 2004 and I remember when I found out that they had been dropped from the label and had broken up I cried over it. They're a group of amazing girls and they made my childhood the best ever!

“C’est La Vie” stayed on repeat in my childhood bedroom
The reason they were told not to get excited for the NSYNC tour was because CRAZY GIRL fans would boo any female acts on tour with them. Whoever said that to them was just trying to prepare them, not give them "bad vibes".
This was so thoughtfully explained and gave me so much insight into one of my favourite girl bands. I had no idea they released so many different songs outside of Cest la vie!

Thank you! I remember how big they were and wondered why they suddenly disappeared. And you are so right - they were different and refreshingly authentic, which is what made them unique. At the end of the day, music business is just ... a business... with musicians treated like disposable products.

I grew up listening that kinda music, B'Witched made me wanna dance, they are very popular, I am a guy and I love dance music, you can easily put any songs on Sumner Hits, Saturday night Hits or Dance Clubs, and I am a guy saying this, there one of my favorites when it comes to music groups

I loved this song all because it was in the Disney movie “Smart House”. Heard it a bunch of times and never realized the meaning 😂. I just think of Disney when I hear it 💀 but that’s changed now.

I feel like the arrival of Britney in early 1999 made a lot of the UK female pop acts at the time feel cheesy and dated, so a lot of artists like Spice Girls, Billie Piper, Cleopatra etc. developed a sexier image and a more American sound. Also, I Shall Be There was released the week of the "great chart massacre of 1999" in the UK, when something like 13 major acts released songs and a lot of them, including TLC and Enrique Iglesias, ended up missing the top 30. Lou Bega's follow up to Mambo #5 missed the top 50 and Lenny Kravitz missed the top 80
