  • DAVID DIEUDONNÉ has worked for Agence France-Presse since 2001. In July 2010, he was given special oversight for the 12 correspondents covering the Paris suburbs. Previously, he reported on crises including piracy in the Indian Ocean, the 2010 earthquake in Haïti, and the war in Afghanistan. In 2006 he joined the Washington Bureau of AFP, reporting on the US financial crisis, the World Bank and the IMF. After completing a Masters of Arts in French modern literature, he started his journalism career at Reporters Without Borders.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
