  • Hey all! (Don't mind the LIPSTICK on the teeth at first in this vid...grrr! LOL) Here I'm sharing with you some great hair fibers! Boost N Blend is a cosmetic hair styling volumizer that will instantly restore the volume of your hair at the scalp and cover any thin areas of hair where scalp is visible... just shake it on and blend it in! Use Boost N Blend to add extra body to your roots, soak up oils, and add instant volume boost! Boostnblend is made up of millions of tiny hair-like fibers that cling to your hair making each hair appear thicker.
    I loved hearing that this brand was created BY women FOR women to help conceal thin, sparse hair, and not only boost lifeless, thin hair, but boost confidence too!
    In this video, I show you how I wear a halo extension, but how I struggle with the thinning crown, front hairline, etc. What an amazing difference adding these hair fibers to those thinner areas makes! Then, I pull my hair back up in a clip, and the change is outstanding! The results are really amazing.

    This is so disheartening to see fellow ladies going through this situation and I connect with you all as I am also suffering from thinning since I was 27 ...it is difficult to accept the way we start looking due to just hair ...older than your actual age ...I wish we get some genuine medicine to get the hair back...i can’t believe they have Made medicine for everything but for hair...

    Im using like a temporary hair color spray. If you have hair in all the areas but diffuse thinning, the spray can taint the scalp and make it look very full like the fibers. Its less messy and very fast/easy to put on. Just my 2 cents. Good luck to everyone struggling with hairloss.

    Hi! I wanted to let you know that I did end up purchasing this product after seeing your video. I agree, this stuff is the best hair fiber out there. It looks the most realistic and covers so well. And no itch! However, it's the messiest to apply since the fibers are so delicate they fly everywhere upon application. No matter how careful I am it still gets everywhere on my sink and walls around the sink. Even the floor. I seriously have to apply this standing in the shower so it's an easier clean up. But once they are applied to your hair it does stay in. No worries there.

Nice alternative for when you may not feel like wearing a wig or topper, (perfect for summer) not to mention the opportunity to reintroduce the extensions that haven't been worn for a while. Awesome video. You say it's not keratin fibers - do these sprinkle off when u r looking down? How about getting them under your nails? I have to wear dark nail polish so ppl won't think the fibers under my nails are not dirt. Just curious what the difference would be. Thank you for this.

    I've been using these fibres for over a year now.....I have female pattern hairloss and my hair is very thin on top. The fibres do give reasonable coverage but they create a huge amount of dust over everything. I find that even brushing my hair hours after applying them they still create this fine dust everywhere.I also have to reapply every day between washes. I contacted Boost n Blend and got quite a rude reply saying I was clearly applying the fibres incorrectly. So fed up with the mess I'm considering stopping using them.

    Hi Amber, I know this is an older video so I am wondering if you have continued to use this product and can comment further. My hairloss pattern is very similar to yours however both my hair and scalp are dry and brittle. When I use powders or any kind of coverup it does improve the appearance but I also notice if I keep it in my hair for more than 24 hours I have a lot of fall and loss when I shampoo it out. I wonder if the fibers keep your scalp from breathing? Have you experienced this? Also can you run a comb or brush through your hair while wearing these fibers? Thanks

    It is extremely frustrating when you don’t know the root of the problem, I had this problem for more than 20 years, went to doctors and dermatologists and nothing, spend money on expensive shampoos and vitamins for hair skiing and nails and the problem persist, thru the years it keep getting worse until five years ago, I was watching a video about a lady that had the same problem as me and somebody suggested that after washing her hair to go outside on a sunny day sit on a chair face down to let the sun hit her scalp while parting her hair for 15 minutes and if it’s cloudy 30 minutes ( the sun is vitamin D for your hair ) and her hair loss stopped so I started doing the same and probably after a month and a half my hair loss stopped and regrew most of my hair, am still doing it till this day only 3 times a week no more than that ( I try the vitamin D in soft gel caplets and didn’t work before the sun scalp method ).

    Great review, Amber! That stuff is amazing! It is just a little messy... which is why I opt for wigs (my hair is very fine too). Do you like this stuff better than Toppik?

    • @FabricatingFringe
      @FabricatingFringe  6 років тому +1

      Thanks Alex! Toppik is formulated differently. This is made from cotton, whereas toppik has wool in it. Toppik is a bit more matte finish, although both cover well. Also, Toppik looks better if you use the fiber hold spray, because it apparantly makes fixes the pH of the fibers (I was told this from the IG person who manages the Toppik account when I asked them a question from a follower who wanted to know how to make their fibers not look green - the spray helps the color in some way) I felt like this color was great without any spray. No weird green tinge or odd shades. There are a lot of great fibers, I've noticed they have different textures, and different formulas.

    How does it feel when it’s on? I use a spray called Batiste and it leaves a bit of an itch. So i tend to scratch a lot. Not to mention it gets under my nails when I do. It also has a weird smell to it. Wondering if B&B do any of that.

    • @FabricatingFringe

    • @FabricatingFringe
      @FabricatingFringe  6 років тому +4

      Hey Mary! In this video, I was irritated with myself, because my hair had been under a topper all day. Although these fibers are great for obsorbing oil, and they can really make a difference....they really look fabulous on clean, fresh, dry hair. Also, rather than patting like I did, you literally blend it , just like the name... boost n blend! I did an additional vid for instagram. a quick mini vid. I did upload in on youtube too... it looked a lot better, less powedery and more blended in my opinion. I feel that if you blend well, these fibers actually look quite great. Much better than a bald, thin, sparse scalp!
