I was a student there back in the 70’s and 80’s. “A brown stone church on the corner stood somber, lone and bare, till the children came to fill it and make it a school house fair.” Fun times

i grew up in rumson. my brother was good friends with sam springsteen cuz me and my brothers attended RCDS (after we moved schools, when my brother was in abut 5th grade and i was in 1st, they lost touch though) . i went to many family partys and my parents had many parties that had the springsteens. i was so young i didn't realize who i was talking to so i just spoke to him like any other adult. i rode in bruces side cart on his motorcycle once haha and i was at his house on 9/11 *godbless*

There is surprisingly a lot of farmland here, but is mostly used for big estates & horses
I am a Bruce fan, since he opened for Ann Murray @ The Wohlman Skating Rink in Central Park in 1973.... He is indeed one of the greatest entertainers & songwriters of all time. That being said, he is gradually moving out of New Jersey. Why? Because the fanatical fans in New Jersey have made ALL "made friends with him" & he is fleeing because the idolatry has gone from "the sublime to the rediculous"!!..... "Bruce Sightings" have reached pure stupidity & ignorance...My God, I am a fan for 50yrs. & their is a lot of good music out there. Enjoy it--Look for it!!.. If Bruce passed gas into a sealed bottles, & sold them on E-Bay, people would buy them. Come on people, we as fans, are driving him out of New Jersey. Is it possible that everyone in NJ is best friends with Mr. Springsteen? Lets wise up & move on, & stop with the "Bruce Sightings"...It is getting comical. Bruce is getting out, because NJ is giving him little privacy, & everyone does not qualify as his best "buddy"!!!.....

I'm a big Bruce Springsteen fan...in 1987 me and a friend took a road trip and stopped by his house. He had the Sunday paper delivered by the gate and I stole it for a souvenir. I'm really not a thief just a dumb fan.

Yes it's wide open. Very tempting to go thru the gates for a closer view. The "No Trespassing" signs are a deterrent

The boss has a really weird reputation he's great in the seventies eighties blah blah .sells out shows everywhere. But there are lots and lots and lots of fans that say they hate his voice some people love and some hate kind of weird
