- There was commotion ahead of the opening of the app based taxi GoaMiles taxi counter at Dabolim Airport. Valencio Rodrigues objected to the opening of the counter and stated that he his fighting in the interest of locals and the state. He claimed that GoaMiles is a fraud amounting to five crore rupees and demanded a display of the GST number above the counter. Valencio was roughed up and hauled away by the Vasco police and later arrested under preventive section for creating nuisance. Valencio will be produced before the Sub Divisional Magistrate Court Vasco on Tuesday.

That is not police brutality. That guy was lying. GoaMiles is one of the first cab aggregators in Goa to actually pay GST. They have already generates close to 4 crores in GST revenue for the government. Make informed comments on videos, otherwise it can mislead people.
