In a world with so much hate and unhappiness, this is a very emotional, moving song and experience. Seeing them having such a great time and those SMILES...don't know how to explain it, but such a wonderful experience. Such uplifting lyrics...WE THE UNITED. Great reaction BC. 🤘
What I have found so amazing, surprising, refreshing and basically mind blowing about the female Japanese metal and rock bands, is how they have made the genre beautiful and fun. I herald from an era of all male metal and rock bands that progressed, if that is the correct term, into soft or hair metal that received tons of air play but was not really metal and rock in my view. Yes there were a few ladies on the scene back then but they looked and dress liked their male counterparts with much the same bad attitude. At one point the males looked like the females with all their hair and sparkly costumes. Then basically, the genre was left for dead in the west, with one or two exceptions. Watching the Lovebites ladies on stage is all the words I used in my first sentence.
"We The United" was the latest video release by LOVEBITES, so it makes some sense to watch it first! It was the closing song of the weekend with day 1 and day 2 (resulting in 2 live albums!)...
"Knocking at Heaven's Gate" is a two-concert DVD series which captured their return after two years of hiatus, pandemic and the search for a new bassist. This song was actually the last song of the two days. They have often closed their concerts with this, as it is an upbeat anthem for the band.
