- After the last video playing with the Sturmtiger, I decided to switch sides and go fight against them. I needed to experience the feeling of 380mm rocket coming your way... oh yes
Sturmtiger can be very scary beast, but it also has a lot of weakspots, so once you know where to aim it becomes less scary.
Sturmtiger was added with War Thunder 10th anniversary "Dreams Come True"event

@@NeSeeger My mate in his Tiger 2 with full ammo would agree with you, multiple times I've died to his ammo rack exploding.
@@NeSeeger it does like if you are too close to a tank when you kill it you will receive damage

@@DOLLARplays if you use it in a flanking,hit and run and ambush,it is,indeed.
Unless i came up against Maus,yeah,90% of what EBR 54 sees at 8.0+ can be killed but as per everything memey,anything can be killed when they got flanked and EBR 54,well EBR series can get out of situation very fast if things go south.

something about draw distance, can make walls invisible in some sights, if you noticed when you switched to binos, there were a wall with sandbags in front of the panther, but not in gunner sights, your binos had more magnification than the gunner view, so i think something with draw distance

Was playing a game. Was in my RU-251. Zipped around a corner, got my track shot off, popped the guy... just as a Sturmtiger pulls an opposing corner. I was literally staring down the barrel through my sniper scope.
Time slowed as I saw that rocket moving straight towards me.
There wasn't much left when the dust settled.

As to where your M18 shell went on that one map when side-shooting the Panther, it passed too close to the 'formerly-destroyed-tank-now-pile-of-sandbagged-bricks' that have horrendous hitboxes...
I think the reason EBR can get to positions so early is because as a wheeled vehicle it loses very little speed when turning
Meanwhile, so many tracked vehicles in this game have double/triple differential steering (or use continuous steering such as hydraulic or electric) IRL, but the only form of steering for them in-game is clutch brake steering, which wastes 50% of the max engine power and as a result makes tracked vehicles awful at taking winding paths
The Sturminator will always be back

When I did this I also got Germany on my team a lot of the time. It was really annoying, thankfully I did manage to get some games against Sturmtigers.

sturmtiger is amazing fun in call to arms. it literally turns an entire area into rubble. and is the biggest explosion in the game besides air attacks.

Video was absolutely amazing lol, such a fun and scary vehicle. If you plan on doing another Sturmtiger video (which I hope you do 😉) then I recommend taking it to a 7.7-8.0 lineup. No idea why, but I consistently get 8+ kill games with the Sturmtiger by itself at that BR Bracket. Main threat is the IKV-91, but other than that - if you play safely - it’s really good
Not everyone is good as you mate. 8+ kills to get is crazy good with the sturmtiger👍

@@DOLLARplays funny thing is is that I’m absolutely awful at most other things. I guess me and big booms connect well haha. It also obviously depends on the map you get, and I didn’t mention that I used a backup on most of these games, definitely couldn’t do this all in one go. I find that 38th Parallel is lethal for the Sturmtiger. Regardless, hope your doing well!
@dragono_7276 even with the backup that's very good mate👍I usually just get bomb soon as I start getting some kills lol Yeah 38th parallel is a great map for Sturmtiger.
@@DOLLARplays planes are an absolute nightmare lol. Sometimes I get a friend to help cover me in an SPAA, other times I just get tired of being bombed and leave. One good thing about 6.3-7.7 is that Germany players seem to play very aggressive (especially Tiger II and LekPz players), so planes and ground units are preoccupied with them
