To put Abbiati in this list is just nonsensical. In any case, you forgot to name so many others that had a good season or two during Buffon's super long, brilliant and still superbly ongoing career. To name a few: Barthez, Dida, Julio Cesar, Van Der Sar, Cech. During their best years Buffon was always better than them in general. And he was 22, 25, 29, 33 etc... always better than any other keeper of any age, at any age. I think Neuer is a very good keeper, very effective and with an original way of playing but... please... Buffon made 6/7 clear mistakes in almost 22 years at high level in professional football. Neur does that in 1/2 seasons... He manages to make defenses play better and improve just with the security he transmits to his teammates. He's alway on it and never disappoints. Even without counting all the amazing saves he still does at his age, that should make people think about the fact that this goalkeeper is not comparable to any other goalkeeper, dead or alive. He was already comparable to Zoff (the best before him in my opinion) years ago. Now he's just unique. He's a living legend. And so much time has to pass for someone to even get close to his greatness.
