Bomford used to have a single blade attachment for the Bushwacker
Mean and awesome but dangerous
Cut through a telegraph pole with a Hydro cut,no problem .
I could make good use of that big saw.. but it looks expensive
You hit the nail on the head when you mentioned ‘maintaining’ hedgerows. The eco warriors think the countryside will be better once it’s been rewilded. When will people realise that if you just leave things to nature, the dominant weeds take over rather than leaving wild flower meadows. The country needs managing and maintaining and that’s what farmers and responsible land owners have been doing for years? Keep up the good work 😊
What is the price range
The tree lopper is hell of a beast, good to see Mr B. Glad you've not got Bens dress sence😂😂😂dear me. Are they shooting birds or trying to scare them off?😂😂😂😂
It's like a blast from the past, I remember when I was a kid, back when dinosaurs roamed the land, the farm my father worked on, as herd manager, the had two dairy herds and cereals, they had one of those new fangled😁 flail hedge cutters, they also had a circular blade one that fitted on a fordson power major which was the one my father used, often me when I was big enough to reach the peddles, to carry out some of the cutting,, now they seem to be making a come back
Bomford used to have a single blade attachment for the Bushwacker
@@alanroygbiv yes I remember seeing g a picture but never seen one being used, not sure what make the one they use to use on the old fordson, remember apart of the frame was bolted to engine/ gearbox and was on middle rather than rear
@@StanleyWareham bit dangerous from what I saw (many years ago) this was a head that could be instead of the flail head, when it caught on a biggish timber, it would really rock the tractor!!!
@@alanroygbiv was only a kid when they used it but do remember my my father forbidding us to go anywhere near where they were using it and that was a time when we were use to roaming all over the farm, also from what I remember the guard that was used would be a health and safety nightmare now
Kid new toy , Christmas morning. Some passion for the machine, love it .
I was a bit excited about it 😂😂
Don’t tease us with the defender and not show us, bring it back and give us a tour Mr B
A job I used to do contracting back in the 70s, with a fordson supermajor fitted a foster arm, an econ mower pump and 1 metre wide saw blades, could take Hawthorn hedges off at "stocking tops" 12" thick...
Be interesting to see one of those at work!
In the James bond film, " The World Is Not Enough, they used something similar hung beneath a helicopter, they actually exist, was quite surprised
You probably need to start cutting low down, so the higher branches fall clear of the hedge. Much safer than a chainsaw and man basket.
Think you might be right
Try the JCB in crab steer mite c keep the JCB out from the branch's falling
They are just like big tablesaw run them as fast as you can work better that way
We best start calling you 007! You’ll have to fasten it to your helicopter……Some toy is that!
Hi Joe, hope you are well. That is some bit of kit that you have, and my GOD it does amazing job and it's well able to cut threw alot of branches and even some of the big ones. As the saying goes joe it cuts threw like a hot knife threw butter. I think every farmer should have one. Keep up the good work joe.
Really good to use, when I think. How long it would take me with a chainsaw!
@joeseels Hi Joe ya, you would be week's at it with a chainsaw joe, and you wouldn't get far with a chainsaw anyways. As you probably know yourself when your working with a chainsaw you would be tired holding for a while. Where's with the Samasz saw bade you would get a lot done in a few hours and would not be tired, and you would actually love working it everyday. It's actually therapeutic just watching and listening to the blades whining and how quickly they can cut threw the branches.
Great video Joe the saw works great
Thanks Ian 😀👍
Just make sure there's no cables running through the trees 🫣🫣😅
A brilliant hedge cutter Joe, every farm is so over grown here in Ireland.
Can you get tractor mounted ones instead of loader ones ??
Fantastic machine it does a great job Joe and will save alot a of time
I agree with Mr B, driver damage lol
What a weapon Joe, some of your tight tracks will not know what's hit them
Great to see Mr B again
Great video Joe
Geoff
Was good to see mr b, good guy! 😀👍
You, JD Mick and Mr B should buy one together
Nice bit of kit that saw head Joe. You buying it
Nice machine that for hedging so sad to hear ollys mate has died 😢
Great video Joe, that saw is a "BEAST" but you'd better not let Big Mick near it after all we know what he's like with a chainsaw . 🤔.
How do you start it 😂😂
You need to look at the GreenTec one Joe . We have one and it looks much better made than that.
No morrrring again joe to exited to get on with your new toy
Sorry I did film it, but didn’t click it in the new editing app I’m using.
Put jcb in crab steer.clear cuttings on wheels
Very good cutter Joe, you shouldn't mock ben & his socks, there are a lot of use who wear them, it's a tradition, I wore mine to a Charity clay shoot today! They are very smart!!
What a bit off kit doing the job no problem.
