- On today's show we're unboxing and doing the radio setup of the brand new release from Horizon Hobby of the E-Flite UMX P 51-D Voodoo Mustang RC Airplane .
This is a detailed , working scale model replica of the real and historic WW2 P-51D Mustang Fighter Aircraft and Reno Air Race Champion called Voodoo and it looks fantastic , it has 2S and 3S power capabilities and AS3X stability and SAFE flight modes . A beautiful and striking paint scheme , removable landing gear , 4 bladed prop and skid plate protectors over the aileron servos .
It comes BNF or Bind and Fly and is compatible with all Spektrum radio systems . The radio model setup is available at Spektrum RC .com . Here's a link to all the NX series transmitter radio preset models :

Did you try flying the voodoo with that alternative 3s pack?
Did it fit and did it mess up the CG? Or did it work perfectly?
Thanks for watching . The 300mah BETA battery works fine and the CG is OK too . But that's the max for sure . a 350mah would not fit .
I did cut the foam a tiny bit around where the battery lead comes through so i can tuck the plug and balance lead up into the fuselage , because they have a larger xt30 connectors and I'm also using and adapter to the JST . It's really great plane . and very fast .
