Happy belated birthday to Braxton! I've always had a soft spot for him. It would be true to say he is one of my very favorite Crazy Middles but every single member of this family is so likable they are ALL my favorites, and I include all of the older kids who have moved out. There's not a bad or annoying apple in their whole big family. Braxton is on the quiet side but that doesn't hide is very appealing, positive, sweet personality. I'm floored that he is a teenager already! His birthday looked like a lot of fun. I'm craving chicken wings now...yum!
We call the scrambled pancakes "Kaiserschmarrn" in Germany and Austria. It is usually eaten with powdered sugar, apple sauce and vanilla ice cream. I love it.

Happy Birthday Kiddo! I live in New York and a couple weeks back woke up to a tornado warning and had five minutes to grab emergency things, my cat, blankets and pillows and head to the bathroom. I live on the second floor and we were okay but across from us the town homes had trees ripped from the ground several huge ones. Their townhomes were damaged. Many not lucky. My power was restored several hours after going out but many not for a several days. I don’t know how they do it the people who get hurricane, wild fires and other natural disasters repeatedly. Hats off to them and many prayers.

My husband makes a version of this called Irish Mulsh. It has more eggs and sugar than regular pancake batter and is made with extra oil. It's such a favorite with our kids that they still request it now that they are grown when they visit. This video is not boring at all. There's a reason you chose the name CRAZY Middles. Kids are goofy and it's fun to watch them "compete" to be the tallest.
