They were working on Apex Legends for a good while actually! Originally Apex Legends was supposed to be Titanfall 3 but they decided to make it into a battle Royale. They were working on it since late 2016 or early 2017!

The actor must have had a blast doing motion capture for octane. He's 1 of the funniest characters in the game and seeing this is can't help but burst out laughing.
